Review summary

If you get the unlimited soda package you have to go to the bar to get it on this ship. That's annoying because you have to wait for everybody to have their alcohol drinks made to get a Coke. With today's technology all you would need is a machine that will take your card and give you your soda. But they might have his other ships

The food was little disappointing. Probably because all the hype you hear all the hype about Cruise food being so great and eating 24/7 this wasn't the case here

Or you can ask a passing waiter to bring you a soda. I never went to bar to get a soda. They gladly will bring them right to your chair!

Yes they do have the soda dispensers on other cruise lines. Most notably is Royal. For this convenience you will pay $9 + 18% per person per day for the soda only package. The dispensers are generally only located in 2 areas, one by the Buffet which will only be accessible during the 3 x 2 hour meal periods and down by the Promenade Cafe available 24 hours unless it is out service. The dispensers are only activated by a special RIDF chip in the souvenir cup that comes with the package purchase, so if the cup is lost so is the ability to self-serve soda. If going to the self-serve machines is not an option (lines too long, shut behind locked doors, down for refill/maintenance, too far from current activity or show) sodas can still be had from any bartender or wandering drink server.
