The vegetable omlettes were to die for at the buffet. Had one almost every day-delish! Room Service worked out great, but hated the lines at the buffets. We ate dinner every night in the Main Dining Room so, no lines. Food was good, but could have been a little more Imaginative, but nicely done.
There are hidden surprises and omelette stations that will surprise you. Don't just look in the restaurants actually walk into the restaurants on all the ships. You could find anything from omelette stations, to pasta bars to Mongolian BBQ's depending on what ship you are sailing on.
Definitely get a cabin with a balcony. The view is amazing. Stay on the upper decks, 6,7,8. Better view. Visit everything and the spa was spectacular. Also do the green thunder water slide.
wait in your cabin until you absolutely have to disembark. Their process is an utter nightmare. They say suite guests have priority to leave...NOT TRUE. The stairwells were crowded to the point of being a fire / injury hazard!
Carnival Pride was a nice ship great friendly crew. Could use higher quality shows like all the other lines have i.e. Royal Carib, Celebrity,Costa, MSC,
I would have enjoyed a larger balcony & no obstruction in the view. First time I've cruised & had a shower in the bathroom, I prefer a tub/shower but this was fine for 7 days. This ship was an older Carnival ship I think & of course it didn't compare with my last cruise ship Oasis of the Seas.
I hated to see it end. If I had to add some suggestions I'd suggest that I would have liked to use the internet and my cell phone and never figured out how to do so or who to ask. It was also too smoky in the casino for a nonsmoker like me. Pictures, way too expensiveshould be offered in a package.
