Review summary

I enjoyed the dining room the workers were great. I did not like going to New York and then making circles outside of New York did not get to go anywhere. Cold trip no warm weather. There was not much to do on this trip they should have planned more especially when we were stuck in New York. I paid for a trip on a ship to sail not dock very disappointed. I don't know if I want to cruise with Carnival again.

I agree Sara! The roof was over the pool. Nice and warm. This was our first cruise, and we loved it! Plenty of things to do. You can't control the weather, but you can control, what you make of a bad situation! And like we said all week...We weren't home!

The weather was not cold! Sunny and 70s every day. We had our suits on and laid in the sun everyday except Saturday. Only yucky day of the trip.

You don't know if you want to cruise with Carnival again?? Because if you would of been on another cruise line they would of done what differently?? Would you of wanted them to sail you into the hurricane? You were given the option to cancel....you didnt...so you CHOSE to be taken where you were safe. I think being out to sea and a storm popping up out of nowhere is one thing,,,and frustrating. But to KNOW there is a hurricane, and the ship tells you that they will DEFFINATLY be changing ports to keep you safe, and offers you a REFUND, and you still CHOOSE to sail, then you got EXACTLY what the cruise line offered you!! So tired of all these people coming on the posts and crying about the cruise lines, keeping them and the other thousands of people with them, safe!

My first cruise was during hurricane sandy, we went to Nassau for 6 hrs and turned around and came home. It was a 6 day cruise out of Norfolk. Lesson learned, now we only cruise in March , April, and May. We love carnival!!

You were given the option of canceling with a full refund. The cruise line can't control the weather, so if you choose to go you have to accept what may happen. Get over it. Try sailing in June

honeynut41    8 years ago

Maybe they didnt cancel cause they were told they would be going to Canada & that didnt happen

All I read was wah wah wah wah wah. You chose to go.

That's not the ship or carnival fault you went friends canceled their cruise that's the chance going at huracane season

vanesonica    8 years ago

You had the choice to cancel, they told you where you were going. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it but you decided to go

Its time that people grow the hell up and take responsibilities for their own choices. Stop blaming others for your own uninformed choices.

There's no doubt the circumstances sucked but if the captain had decided to sail into it then everybody would have said that he didn't care about passengers safety...damned if you do damned if you don't

You chose to go and u chose to book during hurricane season. Def not carnivals fault at all

kimbojam    8 years ago

You decided to sail during hurricane season.....

You could have cancelled out with full refund! Carnival has no control of the weather.
