Review summary

The longest wait to embarkation.  The time given for us to embark was not honored.  Smallest cabin ever on any of our cruises.  Poor service.  Food choices and quality was terrible.  Dining Room service was slow and food was not very good.

Can someone tell me how to schedule staggered check in. It is not showing up on my online check in page.

I love this ship and embarkation has always been a breeze. My cabins, which are usually premium balcony or ocean suite are always roomie.

Will be on the Pride on the 16th- can't wait!

I am not sure if you have heard the news I am in Australia and have heard it. But maybe the fact that hurricane Matthew is barreling down that exact coast might have something to do with it. I would rather take forever to embark than risk the journey you may have been destined for just relax enjoy you holiday let the captain and crew do their job and keep you safe :)

We have sailed the Pride twice before, and will do so again next month. Always a pleasure to be aboard her. Lovely ship, helpful and attentive crew, great memories.

Sounds like if you are looking for problems you will find problems. it's all in the attitude.

Having cruised 3 times this year on the Pride, and the time you picked (or assigned if you failed to pick) is for your security scan & check-in not embarkation. Unless you have priority port personnel will not even let you in the building before that time. Everyone of my cruises for the Pride have stated on the boarding pass that embarkation will commence at 1:30 and end 90 minutes before the scheduled sailing time. But each one of those cruises they did start general embarkation earlier than stated, 1 cruise even started non-priority boarding at 11 am.

Going on Pride in April 2018 retirement cruise. try for positive reviews

Maybe confusing check in time with embarkation? If you haven't cruised with Carnival before you can check in at the earliest time but that doesn't mean you're getting on the ship at that time.Platinum/Diamond/back to back cruisers and fttf have priority.

Thank u for info

mobay, best western on O'Donnell st. has park and cruise. I'm going to stay there for the first time. it has a lot of good reviews. it's about a seven minute drive to the port. if you make a reservation call and make sure you say you want the park and cruise package.

I've been on the Pride and I'm going again next year. Loved it and disagree completely. Like Callierose said..it's a matter of taste.

ladyluck120    8 years ago

I'm going on my first cruise in December so I like coming on here and see reviews. this is the first time I heard negative on so many things. hope I enjoy myself like so many others on here.

I loved the Pride! Guess it's a matter of taste!

I don't know of any ship ever that has embarked at exactly the time given! Smallest room? Um research could of solved that problem! There are a bunch of site... Including the cruises site... That tells you exactly how big the room is and many even show pictures of the room.
