Wonderful itinerary, ship not so much by ullamist

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Alaska - Inside Passage

This ship is generally a bargain compared to other cruise lines. The positives are many more activities and entertainment to do than on other lines and definitely more of a "fun" atmosphere. The negatives include a lower quality of food and a ship that needs to be updated.

Carnival Miracle to Alaska by BCKampf

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle

This was our second time to these ports. Weather in Skagway was a breezy with clouds but not real cold. You need up go to the Red Onion and take the tour. In Juneau it was off and on rain/mist. We walked to the Ref Dog Saloon and rode the tram up the mountain The views were amazing . Last stop was Ketchikan and we did a little shopping and took an excursion around part of the town and the island. We saw the Salmon spawning, Eagles and a bear. The weather was perfect. We Also saw a few waterfalls .

Fantastic Alaskan cruise by Katie66

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Alaska - Inside Passage

Alaska was a different experience for us. We have been on many Caribbean cruises. This cruise was very laid back and older demographic. We enjoyed the smaller ship and the Alaskan ports. The cooler weather was a bonus and the rain we didn't mind because we were cruising for the first time since January 2020. This cruise was well worth the money! We can't wait to go back.

The COVID lockdown was a pain in the A. This cruise was a well needed vacation from that. Welcome back to cruising.

Our first cruise since the reopening of Covid. This is an older smaller ship and so easy to get around. I loved everything about this ship. We mostly loved the day we Cruised Tracy arm fjord and sat on the serenity deck with a great panoramic views. by Cruisiegal

If you enjoy a smaller ship I would highly recommend the carnival miracle. It’s so easy to get around and decorated to the extreme.

7th Cruise on Miracle by jimmyleon

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle

After 7 cruises on Miracle over 8 years thought I should make a few remarks. Two years since last cruise. This was a post covid test cruise. We felt reasonably safe, ship didn't seem anywhere near full capacity. Most people were masked when indoors but were a little lax in the more spacious sitting areas. Overall had a nice relaxing cruise. Looking forward to our next Miracle cruise out of San Francisco next summer. One disappointment was we had been monitoring CDC status of Miracle and it was green until last day of our cruise when it went yellow.

Best carnival class of ship in my opinion by Rnunes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle

5 day from LA to Cabo/Ensenada. A very relaxing get away from daily life. The sea was so smooth on this cruise. It was almost like sailing on a pond not the ocean. It was amazing.

Nice to be back! by dpavao

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Miracle

This was our first cruise back since Covid and I think Carnival is doing a great job. There are some people who don’t wear their masks though and Carnival should probably be a little more on top of that since everyone knows and agrees to the masking rules before getting on the ship. Most people do follow the rules though.

Sisters Don’t Let Sisters Cruise Alone by RST4158

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Miracle

I had a great time on board. I closed out the Alaska Carnival Miracle season. After way to many rebooked for a year, month and CDC. It felt like a miracle that we followed enough guidelines to sail. I love all Carnival. This was a relax and see what goes by the balcony cruise for us. Normally we are not in cabin much. I love all size Carnival ships. I’m not a fan of menu changes. Still like to go to the dining room and have the experience and I do. Love cruising. Miss the free spirit feeling of pre covid days. It’s gone and I hope it can someday return.

Excellent ship and great crew. Residents of Alaska were sure happy to see us! by leepal

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Alaska - Inside Passage

Overall there were no surprises on this, our third, cruise to Alaska. Alaska residents were exceptionally thankful to see our cruise ship as they went 1 1/2 seasons without tourist income. Being the last Carnival Cruise of the season the weather was cool, but we only had rain in Ketchikan. Be aware that the train to the Summit in Skagway does goes only half way up and then back as they are replacing a bridge. Best part of that trip would have been the 1/2 we didn't get to see. I would not take that excursion again until they go all the way up.

Our Weekend Getaway by DaBrowns

Same old Ensenada. It was nice to see all the small shops and restaurants not a far walk from the ship. We still go to the Main Street to shop.

Having been to Ensenada many times, there are several things I enjoy doing occasionally and sometimes I just stay onboard. But it’s a lovely port!
