Review summary

This cruise was the treat of a lifetime and we're thinking about another one!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was quick and smooth. We were through the entire process and on the ship by 11:30

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The MDR was absolutely amazing. The buffet, however, could use a bit of tweaking. The dishes were bland and repetitive. There were a couple of places that changed the menu, but overall, the buffet was a fair disappointment.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We didn't use the fitness center or spend a whole lot of time outside as it was much too windy. What we did see of the activities was impressive.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was superb! It was varied, energetic and so much fun. Everything from the nature talks to the trivia contests to the after dinner shows was amazing.

Children's Programs

We didn't have kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Oh my goodness! I have never been treated so much like royalty! From the second we stepped onto the ship until we stepped off, the staff bent over backward for us. Our cabin steward Cecep was phenomenal. Our cabin was kept spotless and he had a constant smile for us. The dining room staff was beyond amazing. Our server Panan was such a joy. She is an absolute jewel. She was quick, efficient, and still made time to stop and visit for a minute. I watched her interact with the guests and she was happy, kind and cheerful. Give that girl a promotion! Melony and Chantelle were simply spectacular. Each night they were excited to see us, greeting us with hugs and beautiful smiles. Felipe is just beyond superb. His energy level was through the roof. He was constantly on the go, always polite and welcoming. That man must live on coffee! He's unbelievably funny and a very good story teller. If I ever cruise again, I hope to have another Felipe as the cruise director. Alison the cruise insider and Victoria from the jewelry shop were amazing. Alison loves what she does and her enthusiasm ultimately helped my husband to the point that if not for her, he probably wouldn't have been able to do the amount of walking that he did. Philip Stein, Alison! Victoria was so helpful when we purchased our Philip Stein watches and sleep bands. Her customer service was stellar. She also was enthusiastic and completely knowledgeable.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was kept spotless. Dishes were always picked up and everywhere you looked were staff members cleaning or wiping something down.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was so comfortable. The mattress and pillows were incredible. We always had fresh towels and clean sheets. Nothing was ever disturbed but it was spotless! Cecep took amazing care of us.

Ship tip
