Carnival Magic overview
When Carnival Magic launched in 2011, it took Carnival’s “Fun Ship” motto to another level. The second of Carnival's Dream-class ships marked a departure away from the bright design of earlier Carnival vessels. Magic’s modern and updated decor was matched by other innovations in restaurants, cabins, and entertainment. Carnival doubled-down on the fun in 2016 when Magic entered dry dock for the multi-million dollar Funship 2.0 upgrades. A Carnival Magic cruise encompasses all of the true Carnival Fun Ship amenities. It's perfect for travelers seeking a non-stop celebration with an informal, backyard-barbecue vibe.
Magic's activities are highlighted by the SportSquare outdoor recreation area. This area includes the first ropes course at sea, mini-golf, sports courts, ping-pong and more. If you’re looking to compete without breaking a sweat, the Arcade is equipped with the latest in video games. Waterworks aqua park is your go-to spot for getting some serious splashing in on hot sea days. You can relax by the pool or conquer the Twister Waterslide. You’ll be happy to work up an appetite with options like Guy's Burger Joint, Pizzeria del Capitano, and the all-new Guy’s Pig & Anchor BBQ.
For a little rest and relaxation, grab a drink poolside at RedFrog Rum Bar or try the Alchemy Bar for craft cocktails. For some serious pampering, visit Cloud 9 Spa. When you’re ready for entertainment, Carnival Magic boasts live music and shows. Passengers can even try their hand at stardom with Carnival's version of Lip Sync Battle. With kids programs like Camp Ocean, Circle “C” and Club O2 young passengers don’t have to worry about just hanging with their parents. And don’t worry adults, the Serenity adult-only area allows you to escape to your little own kid-free paradise.
