Our satisfaction with the Carnival Legend started at the pier, where a friendly Carnival staffer directed us cheerfully to the check-in line. Embarkation went smoothly, and soon we were enjoying ice cream on deck 9. Our stateroom was typical of rooms we used on previous 7 cruises, with one exception, this room had a balcony, and we never had a room as high up as deck 7. We enjoyed balcony, so that it might be hard to accept a room with out a balcony next time. Food was fantastic and plentiful. Stateroom attendants were efficient and friendly. Waiters wanted to please us, even serving two entrees when we could not choose between many menu items. The only thing we did not like was the chilly temperature in the auditorium. However, we could always take a parka there, because chilly is better than too warm. Without a doubt we will cruise again.

We recently sailed on the Carnival Legend. It was our first cruise experience and we have to admit that it was a very pampering and relaxing experience. It is a beautiful, luxurious ship, very clean and organised with the friendliest staff imaginable! We had a great time sitting in the different lounges, listening to either classical, jazz, Big Band or Carribbean music. It was so fun to have a real english high tea while looking over the vast ocean listening to beautiful music! The formal dinners was quite an excellent opportunity for us to teach our teenage, young adult kids about dressing tastefully, the right eticette, punctuality etc. We as a family had a great time although we weren't together all the time. We chose to meet at different times of the day to reflect on things done and to do things together for a while. We especially enjoyed working out together in the very well equipped gym. The food was excellent, fresh and especially the dinners were unbelievable in variety, presentaion and taste! The desserts were devine!...Our sons thought the 24/7 pizza bar was heaven!

Unbfortunately I have to mention several negative things about this cruise. First - food. Breakfast and lunch have very few and the same choices for the whole 8 days which in my opinion is not acceptable for cruise vacation. Service in dining room during dinner needs improvement also: more friendly and helpful waiters, very uncomfortable feeling when somebody is standing next to your table waiting for you to finish meal ASAP. In this respect NCL free dining is much better. Shore excursions representative tries to give you the most expensive but not the best excursions. We ended up (following shore excursions rep. advice) on maybe the unique Tortola beach which had a lot of rocks on the sea bottom very close top the shore, so it was impossibele to swim or even get in the water. Upper deck is always wet and because of marble floors is very slippery.

Impression of the ship was favorable. The change in the itinerary from Tortola to Grand Turk was not.

I had a great time

This was my 12th cruise and I couldn't believe how much my husband and I enjoyed it. We cruised on the Carnival Legend and loved how much smaller and intimate it was from our previous cruises. Last year we traveled on the Carnival Destiny, although beautiful, it was a much bigger ship. Legend was cozy and absolutely one of the most beautiful ships ever. The decor was amazing but tasteful and the ambiance was relaxing. We did not feel rush, especially with having 2 sea days before and after getting off on the ports.

This was also the best weather we have every had and the whole trip was great sailing!

We had a wonderful time. This was our first cruise by ourselves, and I couldn't have had a better time.

We recently sailed on the Carnival Legend. This was our first ever cruise. We enjoyed the fine dining and excellent entertainment provided. We especially liked the shows in the evening. We had such great time that we are already planning our next cruise.

We enjoyed this cruise emensley. It was our 3rd time on the legend. We like the idea of leaving out of our home port. transportation to & from the ship wasn't an issue. The itinery was great for us. We like more days at sea than in port. Also the size of the ship is important to us. We dont like such a large ship where you have to spend days finding yourself around.

The ship was large, the rooms were of good size. Unfortunately, the ship did not handle the rough seas well. It creaked and moaned with every swell. The accessories were very fitting for this ship. The 9th deck (food stations) were plentiful except rarely were all of the stations opened at the same time which lent itself to longer-than-expected lines. The Captain was aloof, only saw him once, at the cocktail hour for him.

The ship was fantastic. Gorgeous design, expensive materials, great facilities. One major inconvenience: their valet laundry service was outrageously expensive, but the self-service laundry room had insufficient capacity, we had to wait 2 hours to do our laundry because there were only two washing machines and 4 dryers for 3 decks!

our impressions of the legend is exceptional. being our maiden voyage we didnt know what to anticisipate. but our expectations exceeded everything we imagined. the staff were great they antipated our ever whim including what we drank at dinner our suite was well kept and clean when ever we returned there the meals were great and bountiful. all areas were kept up throughout the ship the entertainment was always fun and lively.

The Carnival Legend was much larger than I anticipated. There were so many places to eat-activities-all were excellent. But my best surprise and delight was the unbelievable cleanliness of our room and the comfort of the beds! I am notorious for my fussiness about linens and such on my bed. This ship was top notch. And the room steward - where she lurked we never figured out - but we seemed to have just put down the phone and she was knocking on the door. Real outstanding service. Loved having breakfast on our balcony. I would definitely do this again.

The ship was very beautiful. Great layout and not difficult to figure out where you needed to be. It was extremely clean. The outside balcony rooms were very spacious (and we even had two children in the room with us!)

Ship was immaculate. The service was great. Food was amazing. Carnival does an excellent job. Would definitely recommend to someone else

The Legend is truly the best all around ship we have been on. It's just not excellent in any one category.

Wonderful cruise! Excellent ports to visit. Food was terriffic. Friendly and helpful staff.
