Clean and great food. Drinks were expensive.

The ship was wonderful---a newer build, lots of room and amenities

The decorating of the common areas was a bit overdone for our taste. Staterooms were more sedate in decor and very comfortable.

Our stateroom was robbed by Carnival crewmembers. Security was inept, unprofessional, slow to respond, rude, and actually accused me of stealing. Customer service ignored my 2 emails until I posted a negative response on Facebook. Then they said they couldn't do anything. Hoped that this didn't color my opinion of Carnival, and would love to have me cruise with Carnival again. Is anyone that stupid?!?!?

Ship was kept very clean and well maintained. Staterooms were clean and always nicely stocked. Food was good and the servers were so polite and accomodating. Cruise director was annoying to my group. Not classy just loud and goofy. Spa had wonderful services but because of its location, it was not serene. Ports were safe and beautiful. Very much missed Belize since that was taken out the week before we cruised.

this was our first cruise and we chose the carnival legend. we were totally amazed at the layout of our room and the ship's decor. the food was excellant and the shows and entertainment provided were great.

I wasn't sure if we would like the cruise, as we are older (59 and 69), but there was lots to do, not the least of which was lounging on our lovely balcony. The room was exceptionally well thought out, with plenty of places to stow your stuff. I was really glad that there was only one pay restaurant. Our last NCL cruise had about 8!!! - so obviously the food was not great - they wanted to drive you to the pay restaurants. We loved our waiter (Olly), he and Mutsa really made mealtimes funny and fun. I would have liked the piano bar (one of my favorite things) but the singer preferred to hear herself, so sang very loudly, and you couldn't hear yourself to sing along. Also, the speaker system there was too loud. That was a real disappointment. She could play a lot of songs, but she had her own quirky rhythm that was also hard to follow. Stops were great, but they skipped Belize due to problems with the tenders. We went to Costa Maya instead, which was quite nice.

we just returned from a 7 day cruise on the Carnival Legend out of Tampa, the refurbished job they did on this cruise ship is hard to describe, I have been on over 30 cruises & this ship rates among the top 3. The decor, the ambiance on the public areas were very impresive. The Dining Room & theather are beautiful & spacious. The entire crew made this a cruise to be remembered with the PERFECT treatment we received.

The Legend is a nice size ship and fairly easy to manuever once you get your bearings.

We were looking so forward to our first cruise, but this turned out to be a nightmare, the thermostat in our room was broken and the temperature was so cold you had to stay covered up with clothes and all blankets you could fine. The customer staff was very rude and said we had told the wrong people about the thermostat being broken. and that it was our fault that i now was sick. They did give me around a 112.00 credit toward my 1,700.00 cruise. My medications and Dr. bill was over 100.00. The customer staff could have been much more positive instead of making me feel that I was at fault for reporting this to the wrong staff members.

My overall impression of the ship was that it's well maintained. Cleanliness is not taken for granted; as the men/women working on the ship are very proud that they keep their particular area clean and neat.

This cruise, the ship and its crew was awesome. This was definitely the best vacation and trip I ever had. I gave this trip to my partner as a Christmas gift and we did not want to leave the ship after the cruise was over. The trip started off incredible. The food and service was second to none. We participated in many excursions and the friendly service we received was incredible. We had the opportunity to meet the captain and visit the bridge. This was definitely as experience I will never forget. The captain was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the ship. The many activities on the ship was also fun. When we wanted to relax, we could just go to our room and sleep watching the ocean. Our cabin was also extremely quiet. There was no noise, when we wanted relax time. I can hardly wait for my next cruise. We are planning it now.

Late dining was a pain. If you really want a review, you should give enough time.

The Carnival Legend is a nice ship, but the staff and food were a disappointment.

Love the ship and staff food was ok not bad not great food could have been alot hotter Main dining was great no complaints all staff went above to make everyone happy don't mean to pick on age of people considering i am 49 but the ship was like the dropped off every nursing home on this ship second cruise and last out of Tampa next cruise again out of Miami younger group more fun Hated the dance shows long and boring they really made no sense everyone tryed to sing and out dance each other other shows were great

Overall, the ship was ok in regards to cleanness and courtesy of the staff. However, the decor was awful. Sort of a mash up of random themes. The castle atmosphere made it look dark and old in the common areas. Rooms were nice. Food was average cafeteria style, mass produced food. Best meals were off the ship in ports.

Had a graet time and lots of fun.

Great cruise and cruise members

We loved this cruise, but then again we have loved all of our cruises. The ship seemed somewhat worn but still clean. The food was better than some of our other cruises, but the entertainment was not as good (in our opinion). I did not like that the kids were suppose to wear bracelets if they were under 11. I think a better method should be established. First they could ask if we intend on leaving our kids in Camp Carnival (which we did not) so the bracelet wasn't necessary. They switched the order of the ports which caused us to spend $20 on internet fees to correct an excursion booked. I understand the change, it happens. What I thought was strange was that they offered us a free phone call to correct the problem but refused a few minutes of free internet time to correct the problem when I told them the place required an email. Just strange to me. We still had a great time and we would sail Carnival and the Legend again. We thought the food was actually quite good in the main dining room considering all the food they make in one evening. Breakfast seemed just average, not great, not bad. I did like the buffet quite a bit too. I would say that Carnivals entertainment could be a little better. I did not see all the shows, but I did not like much of anything I saw. We had no problems with the staff and actually thought our dining room staff was the best we ever had. Our room steward was never without a smile. Overall, it was wonderful, but like I said I've never had a bad one yet. Cruising is my favorite place to be so it would be pretty hard to have a bad cruise.
