What a great cruise by DavidC18

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was very nice. When I booked this cruise I picked this shi p based onthe price and value but also the age of the ship. when I got on board I was very surprised the shipwas not as fancy as I thought but It was very nice. I been on three other carnival cruise ship and this is the plainest ship I seen. I had a wonderful time and I tell everyone to cruise on carnival, its just this ship is plain.

Carnival Glory: A pleasant surprize! by SandyT4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

15 years ago I took my daughters on a carnival Cruise and promised never again. Last week changed my mind. On the Carnival Glory to the Western Caribbean we had one of our best cruising experiences. After a poorly handled embarkation, everything got better. The cabin was great, the service was great, the ship although very big was clean and in excellent condition. I would recommend this ship and the Emerald Steakhouse is as good or better than any steakhouse I have been too. I and I have been to most! Please stop telling me where to shop and a little more about the culture and interesting sights of the ports.

Runny eggs and not like the post cards by Ah11

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Due to the hurricane, we skipped one of our ports of call, but more time on the ship made the obvious problems come to light: the food was mostly average (with a few good ones in there), the activities when it was raining didn't include much more than opportunities to spend more money or play cards and finally, we just were stir crazy. The only shining light was the service on the cruise, it was excellent. The rooms were fantastically clean, the people we saw every day like the steward and the waiter were both friendly, efficient and surprisingly thorough and overall the ship itself was good for what it was (a floating hotel).

An average Cruise by Ashvin

It feels two crowded. We took other cruise line and we did not feel like what we feel on this ship. Cabin hallway colors are dull looking.

Super Fun Cruise by HolliM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was amazing, exactly what I expected from a cruise ship. It was colorful, fun, clean, great art everywhere and plenty of little nooks to just sit back and people watch from. Taking the tour on the first day was well worth it, we could navigate wherever we need to go.

Great value that exceeded expectations. by JohnS63

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Large ship that exceeded my expectations. We are experienced cruisers (Princess/Royal Caribbean/Disney/Carnival) and selected cruise based on date/port. Hondorus port left alot to be desired but Belize and Cozumel were fun.

A wonderful cruise! by JeanneK1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We had a wonderful family vacation! My kids ages 9 and 11 didn't care for the kids club that much. They were not impressed by the activities offered and preferred to spend their time with us. That was fine with us. We did enjoy the large chess set on deck, bean bag toss and the mini golf as a family. Forget the shuffleboard as it was so bumpy the puck wouldn't slide across the gameboard without flipping over. That was disappointing. Overall, the ship was very pretty and very clean. The rooms were fine and the bedding extremely comfortable. The food was disappointing as well. It was simply OK. The breakfast buffet was great. Many omelet stations. The lunch buffet on the other hand was just fair. Most of the food did not look very appetiziing. The fish and chips station and the pasta station were tasty, but there was always such a long line. The deli, pizza and grille were fine. The dinner in the dining room was OK. If you like tender beef, do not bother ordering the steak. We tried a couple of different nights and it was never that good. The chocolate melting cake never came out the same way twice. It was very tasty, but sometimes we got it and it was solid like chocolate cake and other nights it was as loose as melted chocolate ice cream. All of the ports of call were wonderful. Everyone around us shared very positive stories. We visited Cozumel, Belize, Roatan and Freeport. The staff of the ship were very friendly and hospitable. The dining room servers were not as attentive as on other ships we've been on.

Relaxing cruise by LindaC19

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

this is one of the largest ships we have been on. Including the crew the ship held 4700 people. The entertainment was great. Our room was a corner aft balcony and it was fabulous. I am spoiled now. The deli on the ship provided the best sandwiches. We took in the cooking show provided by the head chef and truly enjoyed these 45 minute demonstrations.

A great first cruise by JulieS10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The Carnival Glory was all that. We were never on a cruise before but went with some friends who were. They thought this was one of their best. The food in the dining room was flawless. The service was terrific. Elmer and Lawrence were efficient and entertaining. We miss them something terrible. The entertainment was great and lots of activities. This was a vacation we will never forget!

Disappointing cruise experience by KayS75097624

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Generally clean, wonderful food, nicely presented, a lovely room that was well appointed. Decks were often inaccessible at the most pleasant times of the day - early morning - for window washing, etc. Pools were small. Our table was situated beside the service center so was noisy and unattractive. Wait staff were excellent. We requested early dinner seating but were assigned the late seating, thus my granddaughter had to choose between scheduled activities with her new friends or dinner with me.
