A great first cruise

Sail Date: July 19, 2008

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The Carnival Glory was all that. We were never on a cruise before but went with some friends who were. They thought this was one of their best. The food in the dining room was flawless. The service was terrific. Elmer and Lawrence were efficient and entertaining. We miss them something terrible. The entertainment was great and lots of activities. This was a vacation we will never forget!

Pros: pretty much everything

Cons: coming home

We loved it. Did some serious shopping. Megan's bay was very nice
Nassau, Bahamas
We didn't get on the excursion we wanted because the port stay was too short
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
The Fench side is prettier but the Dutch side is friendlier. Took a tour of both sides. Went to Orient Point. Very nice
