Q: Does anyone know if purchasing the “Cheers Package” is worth it? How expensive are the drinks on the ship? Trying to plan for this December & see if I’m needing to purchase that. Thanks!

A: It really depends on what you tend to drink. Beers drinks tend to do better buying by the bucket than on the package, while martini lovers tend to save the best by getting the package. Also, you need to factor in your port plans as the package is onl... y for shipboard purchases. Remember, all adults in the cabin must purchase the package, & there is a 15 alcoholic drinks per day limit.See More

A: it can be as much as a room now for 2 people. Drinks are around $15 each. Just depends on how much you drink.
Answered by wlstck64 on August 26, 2024
A: It only takes 6-7 drinks to pay itself off - we always get the cheers package as we know we’ll be indulging at least that everyday. In addition, it covers all other drinks, specialty coffees, etc. We also pick up Gatorade/Powerade every couple times... we head to the bar - helps to keep hydrated in the heat to avoid hangovers and also we stock up our fridge/cooler with them to take with us to the beach or in port. So ultimately it depends on your drinking habits but I think it’s easily worth it if you like to indulge… happy cruising 🍻See More

A: For me, the benefit of having the cheers package is the freedom of choice. While you can try a variety of drinks a la cart, I tend to stick to my “go to” drinks when I am paying for one at a time. With the package, I try all kinds of things that I wo... uld never typically buy. I have a mimosa or bellini with brunch, an Irish or Caribbean coffee as I saunter around, frozen drinks, wine, etc. You see someone drinking something interesting, just ask them what it is an order one for yourself. Economically, it’s quite an up front cost. But having to limit yourself and do math as you go can be it’s own burden. I’ve tried it both ways and just prefer to eat the cost of the package and enjoy the trip.See More

Answer QuestionA: No, it is a Pullmen Upper over a single twin Lower according to several cabin information websites as well as Carnival's interactive deck plans on the Glory
Answered by maryred on June 26, 2024
A: I understand that but every video and picture I see of that cabin show 2 twins and there are several post about it holding 2 twins. I want to hear from someone that stayed in that cabin recently if there was or was not still 2 twin beds. Thank you
Answered by Frets on June 26, 2024
A: The Carnival website does not list any of the conquest class ships as having USB ports in the cabins. I purchased a 10-ft USB extension to reach the bed.
Answered by bill545 on June 21, 2024
A: 99% of refurbishment dry docks are to improve the public spaces. Minor replacements will be done in the cabins on an as needed basis, but reworking and adding additional electrical options to the modular cabins not a likely prospect. If lucky a cabin... will get new bedside lamps with an USB outlet.See More

A: To find out what above and below your cabin consult the PDF version of the deck map for your ship at carnival.com . That will show the ship's decks side by side. Smoking on the Glory is in the casino while actively gambling, and outside on decks 3 &... 10 along the starboard (right) side. Exact seating location along the deck area can be changed by safety or environmental officer.See More

A: The Social plan will cover Facebook and FB Messenger well, but even the Premium Plan has problems streaming videos even short ones like from TicTok. Not sure if the Glory has converted yet but ships with the StarLink system have faster up/downloads.

Q: My question is about upgrade offers. I received one from deck 7 to spa deck. Both balcony but what would be the reason move? I’ve heard many say all balconies are the same.
Thumbs Up

A: The Glory is not a Cloud 9 experience ship, so a spa deck level cabin gets nothing extra over the same category on a lower level. Cabin set up, decor, linens, and provided toiletries are identical to cabins in the same category on different decks. N... o spa specials offer for being on the same level as spa.See More
Answered by maryred on July 28, 2023
A: @Mojito4Me, the Glory has none of those extra amenities for having a Spa Deck cabin. The ship was built before the Cloud 9 concept was ever even thought of by the designers. So no thermal suites, no thalassotherapy, and no special spa discount, not e... ven Elemis products in the shower. So the "upgrade" is only a higher vantage point view off the balcony.See More
Answered by maryred on August 3, 2023
A: The spa deck cabins are all 2 twin/convertible to king bedding configurations…fine for two guests. Many cabins on deck seven include sofa beds, pullmans, or bunks which allow 3-4 guests in the cabin. If there are only 2 of you, they’re likely offerin... g the swap to sell your current cabin to a group of 3+. For what it’s worth, the halls on the spa deck are very quiet because of the minimal cabin count and the deck is not a pass through to reach other parts of the ship. I prefer the spa deck due to its quietness and minimal guests passing by during the night/ early hours. Also, the showers and steam room are nice amenities since they’re so close by.See More
Answered by HarryMess on July 29, 2023
A: Be cautious and do your homework before accepting the “upgrade”. Sometimes the cabin upgrade is a cabin that isn’t ideal to most people. It can be near a noisy part of the ship, the view from the balcony isn’t ideal, etc. There is usually a reason wh... y they offer this upgrade “out of the blue”. Not saying it’s not a good deal, just do your homework and check it out first 👍See More
Answered by Luv2Cruise2014 on July 28, 2023
A: Make sure the spa deck cabin has a covered balcony roof. The top deck doesn’t have covered roof balcony.
Answered by brinaj123 on August 3, 2023
A: Be cautious and do your homework before accepting the upgrade. Sometimes the cabin you are being upgraded to, is in a spot that people might not want to be. Under noisy, busy parts of the ship, or the view from the balcony isn’t ideal, etc. Theres a... reason they are offering this upgrade “out of the blue”. Make sure to take a hard look to see if it classifies as an upgrade, in your opinion.See More

A: You can decorate your own door and it’s a lot of fun! Amazon sells some magnets and magnetic hooks that are popular options for hanging. They also sell decoration packs :)

A: My faves are those doors with lights all around them! Have fun!
Answered by Rehlah on May 22, 2023
A: Just make sure you follow the guidelines Carnival publishes at their website's FAQ pages. Otherwise security removes the prohibited items. Like battery operated lights and flammable materials.

Q: Which is the best port to shop and have lunch at? Cozumel Montego Bay or George Town?
Thumbs Up
1
A: We like Pancho's Back Yard in downtown Cozumel better than anyplace else.
Answered by jcb91777 on April 7, 2023
A: For Cozumel we love Coconuts Bar and Grill on the quiet side of the island. The views are spectacular and the food is great!
Answered by carrieluvsgreg on April 7, 2023
A: Someone said they love shopping in Jamaica. Where do you go? Do you rent a car or something because we did a hop on hop off tour and there was nothing fancy to do.
Answered by MzDrew on April 16, 2023
A: @Mzdrew, it’s on the other side of the island. You could get there by taxi, we rent a jeep for the day when we are there. The drive is awesome. You turn right out of the port and drive to the southernmost tip of the island and then follow the beach r... oad to Coconuts. The restaurant is located on top of a rocky precipice. It is a wonderful view! They have a website too. Just Google coconuts bar and grill Cozumel.See More

Q: Do they do anything special for couples celebrating their wedding anniversary? We are celebrating the our 30th.

A: Our room steward wrote a nice wish on cabin mirror for our 50th. There are so many people celebrating different life events. It would be prohibitive to do something for everyone. Happy Anniversary, and have a FUN cruise.
Answered by ccsvolsfan on March 24, 2023
A: Mention it to your waitstaff in the main dining room and they will bring you a dessert treat and maybe even sing on the night you specify.
Answered by diamondplus4lyf on March 24, 2023
A: Everyone is celebrating something.... but make sure it's noted on your booking & you will probably receive an individual size cake & a song. You can pre-purchase special occasion items from the Fun Shops to be delivered to your stateroom.
Answered by mrsTAM on March 26, 2023
A: Our cabin steward left a note for us celebrating our 40th anniversary on board. Appreciated that. We also got a small celebratory cake at dinner.
