Get your excursions prior to getting on the ship. We did this and we didn't have to stand in the long lines to get ours.

Embarking was a nighmare, but debarking was even worse. We were headed like cattle at 8:00 a.m. into various parts of the ship to await our call to disembark. We waited 2 hours. I have never had to be out of my cabin by 8:00 a.m. There are so many other ships to choose from...choose another.

Carnival shuttle = $22/ person Call an Uber/ Lyft from the airport.... When you return, debark to the arriving passenger drop-offs-- Carnival charges your car/ taxi $10 just to access the debarkation lot.

We booked our Blue Lagoon excursion thru Priceline because they said how much more it would be once we got on the ship, when actually I paid them over $30 more for 2 tickets, and we had to pay our own cab ride( $25 more) when Carnival would've provided transportation to the island.

Unless they update the rooms soon, do not get an inside room. We peeked in one and it literally looked the size of a closet
