Review summary

Great overall experience. Would def do it again! Will def do the cheers program and not pack as many clothes! We loved every minute of the cruise! Cant wait to do it again!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The port was very crowded but the line moved quickly. Staggered entry worked well. Trying to get 2500 people thru customs and checked in takes time. Patience is key.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main Dining - very elegant. Our assigned time was 8:15 and they would not seat you until 8:15 on the dot! Little ridiculous! Buffets- long lines, pizza buffet and sandwich bar needed extra workers. Hard to eat with family when part has to stand in line for 30 minutes for a slice of pizza then to learn its most always pepperonišŸ˜©

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
ship had one pool on main deck and it stayed crowded. It was very small considering 2000+ on board. There was another pool but it was about the size of a hot tub - cant really swim in it.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Bingo was really fun. Lisa is full of life! Karaoke needed another room - not enough seating but fun. The musicals and comedy shows were fun too! Our cruise director Peter was awesome! George was a top runner too! Two big assets to Carnival!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters were always super nice! Our steward Conrey was great! Very attentive to our needs and passionate about his work.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Yes, people was always cleaning, sweeping and taking up trash (peoples plates, beer cans, mixed drinks etc). They kept things nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Very clean and cozy

Ship tip

Dont over pack! No need for alot of clothes!

I just hate they make everyone in your room to buy the same thing. Hubby doesn't really drink. Royal lets you buy what you want. We leave Thu!!
