That ship was clean all the time in every area. The staff is constantly vigilent in order to please every guest, they are helpful and pleasing in every way.

A very nice cruise for the money.

We were on the Elation and it was a very nice ship. The crew really knew how to handle large crowds of people so our waiting in lines was minimal. Getting off and on the ship was extremely easy and enjoyable. The food was everywhere all the time! The entertainment was great and again, no long lines or waiting and all the seats we had were great. A superb vacation!

Great Shows and the Dining room was wonderful. Relaxing music .. Just felt very pampered. Easy access to every area. Great maps and people to answer questions.

This was our first ever cruise, and we had a great time. The Elation seemed huge to us, but I understand it is not a large ship. Our cabin was about what I expected, and actually quieter than I thought it would be. The swimming pools on the ship were smaller than I expected, but we didn't really plan to spend much time in them anyway. We enjoyed the food choices (we don't eat a lot of different kinds of food anyway) and ate too much. We found the port terminal in Mobile easy to find (although it took a while to get into the parking structure). For our first cruise, it was great, and we look forward to taking another cruise in the future. We will probably go with Carnival again (cost usually being our biggest concern).

Excellent experience.

Clean and well staffed. Not well organized. Basically a "bargain basement" type cruise, but then, that's what we booked so, why expect anything more? It reminded me of an RV trip without the mobility.

Ship was designed very well with exception of second dining room as galley was between the two and it made it hard to find. Ship had a couple of new shows and they were very good. Comics were good in main show however a bit crude even for me in R rated shows at late night shows aft of ship.

it would be better if they did not seat you with someone you don't know

Overall was pleasantly surprised at how nice the ship was. Food was average. Staff (with the exception of the staff outside to keep outdoor tables and indoor tables clean) were very good. Room stewards great. Guest relations were prompt and friendly.

This was our first cruise and it was totally amazing. The ship was fantastic and the crew was outstanding. Our only complaint is that there weren't enough people our age/single on the cruise....lots of families and older couples. I would have preferred an "adults only" pool, too, but they had the Serenity club when were hung out a lot. Overall it was fantastic and I would highly recommend it!

Very Clean stateroom was nice

Very nice and clean. Could get a little mixed up going to the one main dining room but once there everything was excellent.

My only recommendation for Carnival would be to have more waste containers distributed around the ship. If I had a scrap of paper or old gum, I would have to carry it back to my room usually, in order to throw it away.

We recently sailed on the Carnival Elation for a five day cruise out of Mobile, Alabama. Over all the cruise was a nice one. The waiters and waitresses were fantastic and we did not receive anything that was not as we ordered! On the other side of the coin we were almost harassed by photographers and it was hard to stroll certain areas of the ship without feeling like you were interfering. We chose to avoid that floor as much as possible. Our shipboard steward kept our room at the ready and we almost wondered if he was intuitive to our needs! Fantastic! I understand there were 600 children on our cruise and not having little ones with us were extremely impressed with the care they enjoyed "cheers to you Carnival Elation for all you do in caring for those important small people." We saw young men and women doing repairs and cleaning most of the time, yet somehow they remained descreet while doing so. I do feel perhaps a few suggestions could be used in chosing entertainment for the guests. We felt there was to much of the bingo going on and perhaps a little switching of some of the shows times. Being at late dining for us was a bit inconvenient with wishing to attend or perhaps maybe a little more detail in the daily paper would not be remiss. However, there were definately many plus points and we did enjoy ourselves very much.

My spouse and I have cruised with Carnival twice, but this cruise was the most fun. Ship was beautiful and clean at all times, staff was friendly and polite and the pool area had plenty of seating and was so much fun. We will definetly will cruise again in the future on the Elation.
