Review summary

Very nice and clean. Could get a little mixed up going to the one main dining room but once there everything was excellent.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
So many choices, sometimes hard to decide what to get, several at our table solved that problem by ordering 2 choices.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Show's that we saw were good but not quite our style. We did find plenty to keep us busy and entertained though. Comediem was good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was always willing to help you find what you were looking for. One of the bags of alcohol we purchased in Cozumel was not sent to our room, called the room stewart who started looking for it and also the guest services. The next morning it was found and returned to us. Our cabin number somehow was not put on the bag and they didn't know where to deliver it.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was a smaller ship than I'd been on before and the pool was a little small but you still could get wet and cool off. Plus was that there were 2 pools and several hot tubs

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Plenty of closet space and was able to store suitcases under the bed. Only problem was you couldn't walk to both sides of the bed due to a table that stored the life vest was in the corner at the foot of the bed. If you had to get up during the night you had to climb back in from the foot of the bed so not to wake your partner.

Ports of call

Calica, Mexico

1 out of 5
Spanish for Calica is rock quarry and that is exactly what it is, a working rock quarry!! Several little tents are set up there with vendors when you get off the ship who are way overpriced. Looked at a pair of earrings, they wanted $27.00 for them finally came down to about $17.00 but I had bought the exact same earrings in Cozumel for $2.00 the day before, talk about a mark up. We paid for a taxi and went to Playa de Carmen, cost $26.00 round trip, cramped up in the car like sardines. Plus was they had a nice beach there with beautiful water but found that the prices on most of the souviners were a bit more than in Cozumel. Shop owners are more pushy than in Cozumel. I wouldn't go there again. Wish I had stayed on the ship and relaxed in the sun and pool. This port of call needs to be removed. My next cruise if this is one of the ports of call we'll be looking for another ship. There were 4 people in our party and we all agree that this port will not be visited by us again.
Don't Miss: Staying on the ship and relaxing.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Poncho's porch food was good but a little pricey. The "Free" appetizer was enough for only one person and they didn't honor both of our coupons. Good shopping and prices at the stores right there at the pier, we didn't go into the downtown region.

Pros: relaxing and wonderful food

Cons: the port at Calica
