Our experience w/Carnival was great!! I would say that even though we were on an older ship….the staff is just amazing!! We never encountered an unhappy crew member.  From day one we were greeted by our names and asked if we needed anything.  There were lots to do on the ship and although we didn’t get to experience every single entertainment, we were content with what we did.  The food was good, although I wished we could’ve experienced the captain’s dinner, but that wasn’t offered on this cruise, but that’s ok.  We would like to recognize the amazing staff that took very good care of us, Rachmand ….. our room steward simply the best!!! The Atrium Bartender Wira……also AMAZING!!!! Wira always knew and somehow guessed the drinks we wanted.  The dinning experience at the Inspiration……Vinay, Wayan, Naro and Roshwin…..simply made our 1st cruise a better one.  Would we go back? I would love to just to see this team again, but we also would love to experience other cruise ships in the future. 

My favorite part of the cruise was Half Moon Cat beach!! The staff was friendly but they could improve on the food. Enjoyed the burgers, but the fine dining needs improvement on food. Everything started to just taste the same or it was bland. Plus wish they had sweet tea and lemonade. But overall it was a great trip. Plus we loved Christian, Kevin and Ms.Thea was the BOMB lol!! She had mysides hurting😂😂 👍😉

The best part of the cruise was the port of half moon cay!!!  The worse part of the whole cruise is that the ship rocked the whole time, its the worse part of the cruse.

A little more variety in the shows .

  I  would suggest a new way of showing the pictures too.  I  never found all of the pictures that I posed for , wish I could have seen them without searching for so long .  would have been nice to have a channel on the TV that showed a slide show over and over with a number on each picture so when you went to the photos you could request which one to see or purchase . would be nice if you could order them later by that number too , I changed my mind and wish I had bought more after returning home 

The 80's trivia.  I am not a drinker so I had bought water to bring in the Cruise but it was not allowed.  The tea coffee and water was awful until the last day of the Cruise. I was dehydrated by the time I got off the boat.  I got bite by something in the cabin. Since I don't wear a handicap sign around my neck I was asked rudely by members of the staff what I was doing in the handicap line not once but multiple times. Trying to walk was impossible without sitting every few felt due to nerve pain and the boat jumping up and out of the water.  It was clear skies the entire trip. It was an awful experience only being with my friend made it bearable.  I will never Cruise on the elation again

The dinners in the dining room, food very good, service fantastic. Thanks to Mladen William & Eric. Bonnie took great care of our room and we really enjoyed the comedian Tom Foss.

Carnival elation was a fantastic ship. The staff was extremely nice and made sure we were well taken care of. My favorite part was the shows they were amazing and included the crowd of people everytime. The food was also fantastic!

From parking in handicap area till exiting the ship we were treated kindly, with friendly professional staff. Monica and another young male wheeled my 87 year old mom and me who had a fractured ankle from entrance to terminal to our room on embarkment  which took over an hour due to a missing document. They were wonderful happy people and kept my mom calm.  Our cabin was fantastic...steps from the elevator and customer service area on the Empress deck 7. It accomadated the mobility scooter I rented and that was a life savior for me. Mid trip there was an issue with scooter handle and special needs company and a Carnival superwoman were able to fix in about an hour. Best investment ever if you want to enjoy the views and have mobility issues.

The evening shows were high energy and may have been too much for my mom. We stayed on the ship during the half moon port and enjoyed spa services getting hair done and I had gel nails with French manicure. Excellent application.

I do not know what is was with this crew, but out of the 47 cruises my husband and I have taken; this crew was the friendliest group of them all. Usually we have perhaps one or two people that helped make our cruise wonderful. This trip there were 14 of them !!! We did a back to back of a five day with a four day to make a nice 9 day out of it. People ( crew ) went out of their way several times every single day to make sure we were happy and had every single thing we could ask for. This was also the first cruise we that decided to try an inside cabin with. I was extremely hesitant, but no more. I wanted to mention that fact, so you knew our cabin selection had nothing to do with our treatment. I think our cabin was quieter than usual and definitely darker than our usual. I never looked behind that curtained off window (??) area though. We slept wonderfully in this dark cocoon every night, perhaps too good. Since we had problems getting up in the AM. I will not hesitate to book another inside cabin from now on. If I had to say anything negative about the entire 9 days, it would be how they passed out their BINGO cards. They would send a crew member to you, while you sat in your chairs. This method seemed to take forever and some people got pretty frustrated with the long wait. Otherwise, this cruise was a perfect getaway !    

well don't get the whole 2 days at Nassau Bahamas it was a waste of vacation because the ship got their at 8 am left out the next day at 5 am did not get the two days their 

I do not have another cruise experience to compare it to.  I enjoyed the get away and the people I met. The first day at sea the ride was horrible. The crew was great.  I wish there was more to do on the cruise. I was really hurt when I was in the casino and had a win and the machine error out and the hand moved back about two inches to make it look like a lost with a malfunction. I felt cheated.  And a lot of the games seemed to be fixed against the player.  I enjoyed the Island of Bahamas. Plan to take another trip next year, but pray I can go to all my ports. Did not get to go to Freeport.

Food was Awful, Staff Not So Friendly, Best Part Was cruise director, Smell Of Weed In Hall Ways, Our Toilet Broke twice, Charges on our sail And sign card that weren't ours, just a awful ship to cruise on, wont be back

I like being on my first cruise on Carnival and loved it so much. Food and service were awesome, fun activities and all the arrangement were so great.

The only thing that surprised me on the last day of arrival was service gratitude charged $130  else over all good 

The ship needs renovations and remodeling. The ship was falling apart: things held tg by tape, windows missing or broken, dirty windows. The whole ship just needs a remodeling. 

This was my first cruise and after reading some reviews about it I was skeptical. But I absolutely loved it! Everyone was so friendly and the shows were entertaining.  It was so much fun and never a dull moment. Our room attendants Michael and Charlene( spelling is probably way off) were amazing and extremely friendly. Rolly and I Putu made our dining experience even more enjoyable every night at dinner. I would recommend this cruise to anyone and think it's the perfect cruise for first timers. 

I've been on this cruise before and was disappointed, but went again due to the convenience of the port.  I went this time with some girlfriends as a get away for some time to relax and catch up.  From the start of the cruise, it was a disappointment.  The boarding was delayed and Carnival didn't make any adjustments to the process, so it was about a 2 hour process to get through the line.  Once you got on the ship it was almost impossible to get food because so many people were trying to get food at the same time.  

We ate in the Dining room for all meals and I was so disappointed in the service and food.  Almost all meals arrived cold or luke warm.  We sent back the meals on multiple occasions and that was only if we could get the waiter's attention to do so.   It was often a long wait to get your food, which of course made for dinners to be a long process.  

They announced at the last minute that they were skipping a port.  They claimed to make up for it by spending the night in Nassau, but that wasn't really true because they left at 6:00 AM.  Everything except the bars close at 5:00 PM in Nassau, so staying beyond that time is wasted.  They only gave us $20 credit for the loss of a port.  An extra day at sea is not a good thing on such an old ship with the clientele that is on that cruise.  The ship only has one pool that includes the children water park area so there is no place for adults to go into a pool.  There is a VERY SMALL adult only section with a hot tub that was packed.  

Overall, I didn't find any of the crew to be friendly.  I saw my room steward once.  They are obviously overworked as the ship is understaffed.  

It is very unfortunate that Jacksonville can't get another cruise in this port because it is so convenient and there were a lot of people from the Southeast that only took this cruise for the convenience, but felt the same as I did.  

No matter what I will NOT go on this cruise again.

I enjoyed the entertainment provided at sea & of course enjoyed having extra time in Nassau. Was able to do more than I normally would have when visiting more than one port. Aside from the entertainment the staff is professional and courteous.

I've been on Carnival many times but this was the worst ship ever. The only reason I gave them two stars is the staff was wonderful. I was in U-17 and the person who cleaned my room was great. I am still sick from the trip and was sick the entire time. This was my moms first cruise and she got sick and is still sick. The ship was moving too fast and the waves was horrible at least the captain could have slowed down until night or left early from the Bahamas but he was behind and rushed and made everyone sick. I don't wont to see this ship again. I don't blame the staff I blame the driver of the ship.

This was our first cruise and our honeymoon. And boy, we were completely spoilt by the hospitality shown by the cruise staff. Although the ship seemed a bit old initially when we entered our room. But later we started liking it. It was all because of the awesome staff that took wonderful care of us. 

Kudos to our steward Komang. He always made sure our room was organised and replaced the towels and sheets every day twice. Awesome thing was he remembered our name. Our names are difficult to remember and I was really amazed he remembered it. So did the staff in the dining. They knew we were honeymooning and made every dinner experience a special one at cruise. Special thanks to Putu, Satan, Feri and Danilo. We were spoiled by their hospitality. 

We absolutely loved our first cruise. We have now decided that we will cruise at-least once every year. I highly recommend this cruise to everyone. 

If you're looking for a good time this is the cruise for you. The crew treated us as we were Kings and Queens. The boat was clean. Our rooms were always neat. The shows were first rate. They made you feel as if you were in Lad Vegas every night. The food was  phenomenal. I did not want to leave the boat. The  excursions  were worth every penny. We did the  snorkeling in Nassua it was a once in a lifetime  experience . The fish were swimming right in our hands. My only bad part was I had to come home.
