The natives in Nassau are hustlers, they are poor and need the money, they do tend to be bothersome, however, just say no thank you and keep walking. We've been to Nassau several times, a few by plane and 2 times by ship, each time we where there the locals bothered us about getting our hair braided and the taxi drivers asked us more than once if we wanted a ride, however it didn't ruin our trip.

The hot tub sure felt good on our feet after walking on the terrible pavement in Nassau. And it wasn't crowded for once.

I had more fun on the ship then in Nassau anyway. We spent maybe an hour in Nassau and we're back on the ship. If it's your think to go out and party, it was pretty cool to be able to go off the ship at night. You wouldn't have been able to do that if we went to two different ports.
