Pay close attention when you get off the elevators, there is a picture on the wall of the front and back of ship and where you are located, sure helps in going the right direction. Easy to get turned around backwards. If you are with other couples, always pick the same side of the ship to eat on.

Look for better Activities Director, you will enjoy your cruise more. Also other ships than the Dream had better food varieties.

If you want the balcony experience without the full balcony price, book a Cove Balcony. I had one for my 7 day cruise and loved it, the views are good too.

Don't miss a night in the dining room food was F@#ken GREAT I'm from Jersey and nother can be better if you put the F bomb at the beginning. The slots could be set to pay longer not to say pay out more but play longer. Quantity profits more in any buss.

I would have enjoyed a massage but felt it was too high a price. The food was excellent both in seated dining and Lido deck. Entertainment was excellent.

You have to get up and out at least by 6:00 am to reserve chairs on deck. You have to get to the deck early to reserve your seats for the Dive In Move, stay away from the pool the children are too loud.

Only do Excursions with Carnival in Jamaica. Cozumel's exchange rate is 25% higher than the US at their restaurants. They will not tell you until after you eat and they will add 25% to that total for gratuity.

Spend your first day walking up and down the main, non-cabin, decks...it's big, and once you get the lay of the land you can better understand how to get from A-B faster, avoid waiting with groups for elevators, etc. and map out the areas you like best to get the most out of the cruise/ship.
