Captain did his best in spite of hurricane every time he had an announcement it was of a change in the itinerary! We realize safety is always the number one consideration but some of the changes seemed to be avoidable leaving NY late interruption of the sail away party ; telling us we’d have extra time in Boston then never docking again. As nice as the ship was we were looking forward to some extra time in Boston since we were skipping the next two ports!

You need to think twice before you lift COVID restrictions. We wore a mask all week except when eating & drinking. And came home with COVID!

whats there to say other then its great to be cruising again in ships that are filling up. the crew are overjoyed to see us as we are to see them. this is our 5th since March 2020 38 days worth and we have 2 more and a land sea cruise to Japan also.

We enjoyed he cruise. We had rain 14 of the 16 days, but we were prepared for it. We checked the Weather Forecast before packing. We read Wikipedia on each port. We brought rain gear & cold weather clothing & shoes.

left such a bad taste that i would not except a free suite on the carribean princess. i hope the rest of the fleet is in better shape

Caribbean Princess is a nice ship with good cuisine. But they could not provide me with an accessible handicap cabin.

It was a lot of fun, but the last day of the cruise my son fell and broke his collarbone. The staff was very helpful, calm and sweet with us. I was seasick during the 2 days back to back at sea. I don't recommend going for 2 days "at sea". But with all of that said, this was the best family vacation we have had in the last 10 years! Would definitely repeat it with a few more stops.

It was a great and relaxing experience. The onboard and off boarding experience was efficient.

Great cruise overall. Food was excellent barring the poor quality lobster. Ship was clean. Towels on every deck chair which was a nice touch. All was in good condition. Policing of children in pools wasn't good. Running, jumping out of control. Wish parents would pay more attention to their kids.

We met a great group of men during the LGBQT+ gatherings. The mix of ports of call and days at sea seemed ideal. We were never bored. Despite missing half our cruise because we needlessly were caught up in problems with our cabin, we had a relaxing experience. The Caribbean Princess needs an overhaul: it is showing its age.

Overall disappointed by lack of activities (i.e, no arts and crafts like napkin folding, etc. I don't know if it was covid based or what, but previous cruises had a lot more activities), I never even saw the cruise director. They definitely seemed very understaffed but the staff that was working did their very best to accommodate everyone as best they could. You just can't make up for lack of staffing. Food service was slow, food was not near as good as normal (my first dining room breakfast was inedible scrambled eggs), lack of entertainment (and low quality of what was there), low quality and options in shops, lack of activities on boat. On the positive side there was the staff and servers who did their best with what they had, and my stateroom being my first interior seemed more spacious then anticipated.

This was not a typical Princess vacation. We sincerely hope that the cruise that we have booked for 1/28/23 is nothing like this cruise and that it is back up to Princess usual standards.

An enjoyable cruise - what you would expect. However, the food in the main dining room was nothing spectacular, the room service was terrible (long wait, cold food, forgotten items) production shows not very good.

Great time already planning another cruise with Princess Cruises

The first couple of nights at our assigned dining time were a nightmare. People waited upwards of an hour when they were supposed to have had a reservation. The service needs to move more quickly, and servers should not be scraping food waste! They need bussers to take care of that part, servers should be focused on getting food to the guests ASAP.

We're frequent Princess cruisers (9 cruises) and had always received free drinks happy hour (5-7pm) in platinum/elite lounge. This cruise, without warning, we only received a discount which was really no discount at all. For example, 2 gin martinees were $23.60...really??...discounted? Bought 1 day of internet use....didn't work. They did finally refund this! In the buffet/cafe were drink dispensing machines(orange juice, iced tea, etc.) that had permanent "We're on It" sign indicating "not working". Towels at pool were often unavailable if anybody wanted to get into a pool or hot tub which was filled with kids and their food! They billed us for 8 days of gratuities on a 7 day cruise!!! They did refund this. We were double billed on 5 item which to their credit they did reverse charges.

Great getting away for a week. We will cruise again in the near future depending on how Covid is effecting the population.

This was our 5th cruise and 2nd Princess Cruise (Alaska). We had a great time but were underwhelmed with the ship. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the ports of call. Very professional staff and glad they were able to return to what they do best.
