The Caribbean Princess is a magnificent cruise ship, which is well maintained and with a very professional and friendly staff.

We were 3 female adults in 1 state room . we are in a room with 2 twin beds and 2 bunk beds above. However, none of us could climbed the ladder due to our age,weight and medical conditions. We made several request to have another bed in the room to no avail. However , one of us ended up sleeping on the floor for 7 nights with no credit or compensation. we pay full fare.

The ship it self was nice. Great idea with the movie under the stars. It was difficult to find some one to give you a clean towel after returning to the ship. You had to track down a room steward to get one. They were rarely around.

We traveled on Princess Caribbean that features movie under the stars. The ship was spotless. The staff was amazing and very prompt, curteous and helpful. The food was very good and the specialty resteraunts very good. We would very much recommend a cruise on this ship.

It was a most enjoyable vacation for us....I worked with Connie McCue and she was great...helpful, considerate and friendly.

Ship was huge!

This ship was fantastic!! EQUAL TO A 5 STAR HOTEL. Room service left a bit to be desired-didn't get fruit bowl as requested on more than one occasion. I felt the room steward's quality of service (cleaning) wasn't as good as previous cruises-probably because of the automatic $11/day /person tip payment instituted. Conversely, dining room wait staff was PHENOMENAL!!

This ship is beauiful. Great rooms for entertainment. Very nice lobby, it was fun to sit in it, have a drink and listen to the music and people watch. Crew getting your drinks were not that freindly tho, and they never came back to see if you needed something else. I had to go to bar myself to many times. Room crew was great and We had all we ask for there. Movie under the stars is fun but headphones would help. Engine noise sometimes makes it hard to hear. This was my second time with princess and overall I was happy with the trip.

Overall ship was clean and our cabin was well maintained. Alternative restaurant was very good and worth the extra charge.

THE SHIP WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE BUT WITH TOO MANY PEOPLE AND NOT ENOUGH HELP ESPECIALLY WHEN EATING IN THE BUFFET. NO SEATS AVAILABLE ALL OF THE TIME EXCEPT WHEN IT WAS VERY LATE. SMOKING IN THE CASINO WAS ATROCIOUS AND NOT KEPT VERY CLEAN. THE WAITERS IN ALL RESTAURANTS WERE TERRIFIC EXCEPT FOR ONE WHO SERVED ON FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ON MONDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 25TH. HE WAS RUDE AND IGNORANT AND WE REALLY DIDN'T HAVE A GOOD CELEBRATION AND NOTHING SPECIAL WAS DONE AND WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD HAVE A SPECIAL SURPRISE. WHAT WAS THAT?????? WE COMPLAINED TO THE MAITRE D' AND WE DO HOPE THAT WAITER WAS CITATED IN SOME WAY FOR HIS RUDE BEHAVIOUR. THEREON WE ATE IN THE OTHER DINING ROOM AND HAD 2 GREAT WAITRESSES. THE SHOWS WERE GOOD BUT NOT OUTSTANDING EXCEPT FOR THE PIANO MAN NIGHT AND THE FINALE NIGHT. FOR SUCH A BIG SHIP, ALL THEATRES, DINING ROOMS ETC SHOULD BE LARGER TO ACCOMODATE THE PEOPLE. ALOT OF WALKING TO GET TO EVERYTHING. THE ADULT POOLS ARE TOO SMALL AND AREN'T ALWAYS USED BY THE ADULTS. THE FAMILY POOLS ARE TOO SMALL BUT MOST OF ALL PEOPLE ARE SLOBS AND LEAVE TOO MANY THINGS AROUND AND THERE IS NOT ENOUGH HELP TO CLEAN UP AFTER THEM. THERE ARE DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH BEDROOMS, YOU HAVE TO WALK MILES TO FIND ONE AND REALLY SMALL. YOU WET YOURSELF IN THE MEANTIME. IN OTHER WORDS, FOR SUCH A BIG SHIP, THERE SHOULD BE MORE AND BIGGER OF EVERYTHING TO HANDLE ALL THE PEOPLE YOU BOOK FOR IT. OTHER PEOPLE WHO WE MET ALSO COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS.

I could happily move in and spend the rest of my life on The Caribbean Princess. What else is there to say?

In January I cruised on royal carribean and as of right now I feel it blows this Carribean Princess ship out of the water. Granted, due to the fact that the Royal Carribean ship was newer maybe I should not compare. The layout of the ship was much easier and nicer than the carribean princess. and the cruise staff although they were good on princess, Royal Carribean was much more foward in making sure you had a good time. Overall the crew on royal carribean were more informative in giving opions on food, shows and even things to do in port. They would recommend certain things and were way more friendly. Big pluses on the Carribean Princess was the pizza and burger place open from 11am to 12 am and the movie under the stars which played movies all day and night on the big screen. Getting on and off the boat was much easier and smoother on Royal Carribean as well. Plus no towel animals waiting in my room for me. Although it was not a horrible trip I will be going back and staying with Royal Carribean for now.

This was a great trip

The ship had engine problems which no one told us about until we were on the ship. One of the stops was Puerto Rico but since we got there late, all tours were cancelled and we never saw what the island had to offer since many places were closed and it was dark. We were never able to get deck chairs until the late afternoon as they were all taken. Even at 8:30 in the morning the chairs were taken even though there were signs stating that you could not reserve chairs. The food was not that good and there was little variety. It was ridiculous that you had to pay for ice cream!! The entertainment was bland. The best part of the entertainment was "Sarge" a comedian who was great. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and the Cruise Director and Assistant Cruise directors were the best I have ever seen on a cruise ship. They did make this trip at least enjoyable. One of the stops on the ship was Tortolla. Don't waste your time, there was nothing to do or see. It actually became the joke on the ship even among the cruise directors. The main theatre was too small and could not fit all the people who wanted to see the shows. We had to get there at least 1/2 hour before the show in order to get seats and sometimes it was difficult finding seats. The movie screen on the pool deck was kind of cool though. We actually enjoyed that. Contrary to what we had heard the sound system was fine for the movies.

We loved the beautiful cabins and attentive service. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. The shipboard entertainment was great!

We had great weather on our cruise, soem of the ports were not real nice, especially Tortola, very dirty, Princess changed ports and arrival times on a couple ports and made it very difficult. Service was great, food was average. Second time on this ship. Getting tired of over priced items on ship.

The embarking of the Princess was very easy and fast. They had told us that the embarking will start after 1:00 but we got at the pier at 11:00 and got in right away. We went straight to the buffet. Everything is open to your disposal. The room are very clean and excellent service.The pools were a bit crowded but thanks to the movies playing almost all day makes the pass. Lots of different activities that will please almost all ages. I took Line Dancing, it was lots a fun a way to exercises after all that food. The Night shows were just fantastic, especially the comedian. The supper dining was very good but the Coral dining room was faster service. Did not need to wait very long since we had anytime dining. The Palm dining room was very long line ups and the service was long. The excursions with Princess were good. Except for Puerto RIco since we got there very late we could not go to the rainforest or fort. It was a waste to stop. It was only good for a bit of shopping. Meet great people. The ship had kids and young people but not like Carnival so it was more calm.The disembarking went smoothly. Easy to find your luggage at the pier. We had driven to New York from Montreal left our car at the parking of the pier for the whole time we were at the cruise and picked it up at the end to go back home. It costed 174.00 for the whole week. It was cheaper then getting a flight for four people.

Overall, the ship was very nice, but some of the aspects of my experience will prevent me from sailing on it in the future.
