Do as much of your planning (booking shows and activities) in advance of your sail date so that when you get on board, you can just relax and enjoy.

Bring your patience along. Don't expect high-quality service.

absolutely book your dining times and shows before leaving, it makes a difference, almost no waiting to eat and so on... we were 12 people and they accommodated us pretty quickly.

TRY to see everything on the ship, we dare you! VERY big and lots to do.

OMG.... easy on & off! Dining is a nightmare even when you have reservations you wait!! Food is delicious. Spectra shows are not to be missed but seating is first come first seated & it fills up early!!! Lounge shows are great.

One really does need to book whatever they can as far in advance as they can.

1. Sail from Bayonne - it was a very good experience. 2. Don't buy the drink package, not a good deal. (we didn't buy it because it was too expensive but then we spoke to someone who could not get a glass of champagne at dinner because it was $15 and excluded ( no champagne under $15).

Take a few extra hangers for all your dresses. The App, if you pay a small amount is a great way to keep in contact with your party or room mate without paying the daily WiFi charge.

No winter cruise date!

Make your activity/show reservations early!

If you like cruising to the Bahamas, book it out of Jersey. If you'd rather spend time in port of calls, fly down there and get a ship out of Florida or somewhere.

Be ready to have an Awesome, Relaxing, vacation.

If you have a question about something you might be better off getting an answer from a fellow cruiser.

Once you are on board, you can use the Royal IQ app to book shows, iFly, North Star, the Puzzle Room and more. No need to wait in line to book things.
ReneeRaupach
DONT!!

If your looking for adult oriented night life this is not where to find it. If you have kids this experience would be right up there with Disney.

Go with the flow and do as you please. If you like to gamble, be aware that the casino is not a charitable facility despite the publicity about how much was "given away" each day by Royal Caribbean.

Line to book your shows etc at embarkation was a nightmare do it ahead of time if you can. Get Tender tickets night before cococay. My time dining does NOT equal reservations, still need to reserve (yes ridiculous). excursions sell out before you even board. try not to get suckered in to upcharges

Make reservations for everything you can ahead of time.
