save the money on the soda package, there is never any ice in the machines and it will come out cheaper by buying as needed.

If it’s sailing out of PR and you are not comfortable with multicultural cruise mates, seriously consider a different port.

We brought a steamer to help us with dewrinkling ok the clothes. We bought a case of 12 litters of water, which we didn’t use at all. We also bought the soft drink package. They gave us a huge complimentary plastic tumbler which was very difficult to carry. You don’t need it to get your soft drinks. Just show the Sea-Pass card and you receive your soda.

Be prepared to be bombarded with sales pitches from everywhere.

It is a lot of fun! Ask for Manuel for a dining hall server!

Eat at Giovanni's !!!

If you're prone to motion sickness book midship, or slightly aft. Forward notices more movement in rougher seas.

Just enjoy the ship.

Have a great time

I would like more free activities and shows that doesn’t overlap one another..we can only be at one place at a time

Walkers are very helpful in high seas for elderly people

Investigate each floor the first sea day so you know where everything is. Very big ship.

We were not pleased with the wi-fi packages. When sailing with Carnival, we were able to use the free application to stay in touch with other friends on board. Wish Royal had this option.
GAGetaway
We went out on our own instead of taking excursions. There is still hurricane (Irma) damage in St. Thomas and St. Martin but beaches still beautiful.

Be prepared to feel the rocking! This is the first time I felt it rocking and almost got seasick. It’s smaller than the Freedom class which is what we’re used to which makes a difference.
