Review summary
We enjoyed our cruise in part because it was our first balcony cabin. Our daughters had an inside cabin overlooking the promenade which was better than a regular inside cabin. I enjoy an itinerary with more ports, but we knew this ahead of time. We felt like the food was actually better on Carnival cruises that we’ve been on lately. Our group did enjoy the extra activities such as the slides, flow rider, etc. we also enjoyed a quiet bar on a higher deck. We liked the onboard app that Carnival had verses Royal C. Very good cruise director and assistant and the shopping contact Neil was very personable. There was a lot of soliciting for good reviews which was rather annoying. Overall we had a good cruise and they handled the 3000 plus passengers efficiently.Embarkation

Ship tip
We were not pleased with the wi-fi packages. When sailing with Carnival, we were able to use the free application to stay in touch with other friends on board. Wish Royal had this option.
