Shows were just ok; loved piano bar entertainer, Giovani. Beach at St Kitts was Terrible , but island tour perfect! Really enjoyed the last 2 days as Sea Days; rested when cruise was over!! Would really like a cruise with gratuities taken care of---don't like the ship setting the amounts I pay---how do they know what kind of service we'll get till the last day???loved the new photo setup; look everything up on computer screen and purchase downloaded pix on my phone!!

Had a wonderful time in this cruise. It was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean and we already have another booked! They had plenty of staff who went above and beyond for us!

The service in the dining hall was amazing. We had a dinner time of 8pm each night and the service was always too notch. The head server always offered recommendations and the assistant was also very pleasant.

Relaxing Caribbean Cruise by takilafrazier

The cruise and the ship design are well thought out and so cruiser friendly. I loved the elevators having the day of sail on the floor in order to keep up with the time. The interior widow suites were nice and gave more excitement to the nights when the party was on the main floor. The service and waiter crew was nothing short of spectacular. The food was excellent and I loved the idea of not having to purchase a beverage packet to enjoy teas, coffees, and lemonade.

The staff really made this cruise so special. Raquel and Mukesh from the dining room where the best servers I ever had. They remembered the small details about our family and really made us feel special.

Recommended ship! by cruiseangel

Good cruise. Food was best we've ever had, specially in main dining. Shows disappointed. Staff excellent. 70's night was a blast! Cruise director okay, but maybe getting ready for retirement (?) Ports were better than expected. Excursions were very good. Weather good and made lots of new lifelong friends at our dinner table, which was the biggest reason this will be a memorable cruise.

Smooth Seas Smooth Sailing by asugarplums2

For us, this was a nice, quiet sailing as we were recouping from an illness we had had at the first of the month. The waters were so calm you couldn’t feel the ship moving making rest and relaxation most enjoyable. The cruise ship staff were very friendly and most accommodating. The food was ok but much better in 2005 when we sailed on this same ship. Our evening dinner service was slow and since the table beside of us had much quicker service we really noticed it. The other problem was at disembarkation, I arrived at the luggage area to find my large bag had been damaged from being moved from the hallway outside out stateroom to where we had to pick it up after leaving the ship.

Wonderful itinerary by mj167267

We loved the itinerary and the weather is certainly not RCL's fault. There were 1200+ top tier members on board and the lounges were too small to accommodate those crowds. 4 different shore excursions were cancelled and even though they offered a 15% discount to rebook, there was nothing available.

Love Repositioning Itinerary and Length by pkhowell

Verified Review

We chose the cruise for the ports of call and length of the cruise. We decided to try Royal Caribbean. We were disappointed in the ship design as the focus seems inward toward the promenade. We prefer a design in which the focus is outward toward the sea giving many public where you can watch the ocean. We were also disappointed that there was not more music during the daytime. Activities of games and pencil and paper quizzes do not appeal to us. We prefer lectures and learning something. The sports activities are more for younger, more physically fit people. Ports were fun, especially Quebec City and Bar Harbor. The cruise familiarized us with some Canadian provinces that we knew little about and that was an objective that was realized. It turned into a very relaxing cruise for us and was enjoyable. We think that we will stick with Princess and NCL however in the future unless a fabulous deal and itinerary appeal.

Cruising for Color by JerrKat2

Verified Review

This was our first New England / Canada cruise and it didn't disappoint. The only thing we couldn't control was the weather and while it rained a couple days, the ports were easy the navigate and there was enough to do to keep them interesting. The ship while clean is showing a little wear. The food options on board were abundant and tasty. Our stateroom attendant, dining room waiter and assistant waiter were all top notch, as were all the bar staff. My only complaint with the cruise was the extremely slow wife connection. I believe if you charge a fee for something, it should work and while you could eventually get email and facebook to work - it took way too long.

Beautiful Fall East Coast Cruise by schneidejoseph

Beautiful ports of call. The colors are more intense further inland, so be sure to plan some excursions if fall foliage is your goal.

Novel fall cruise by revruss

All ports have shopping and food within walking distance. Sydney is a relatively underdeveloped tour stop. Tours will fill up well in advance. Food is mostly repetitive.

Fantastic experience by markcjohnson

Wife is in a power wheelchair, so our needs/experience probably different from most people. We had a good time and are glad we went. The crew and fellow cruisers were kind, helpful and patient when we took longer than most to get places. The room and ship were accessible with no problems. Great trip! RCL does not offer many options for accessible excursions, is my only complaint.

Adventure of the Seas NE cruise by kkirschner8

This was our fourth RCI cruise; we've cruised 12+ with other lines. The food is really not good. The dining room food was bland and seemed like the same entrees were offered throughout the cruise. The buffet was over-crowded and unappetizing. The specialty restaurants were only slightly more appealing. Overall, the dining areas seemed under-staffed. We enjoy having a nice dining experience when we cruise (quality vs quantity) but that didn't happen on this cruise. The ice skating show was fabulous and comedians in the theatre were really entertaining. Unfortunately, the regular Lyric theatre shows were a notch above a high school production. It'll probably be a while before we try RCI again.

We enjoyed the cruise overall. But disappointed in some of the excursions we chose. We did travel with another couple and that addded to our enjoyment.
