Best parts of the cruise were the dining and the shows.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
After we figured out the correct lane to enter the correct terminal, it was very easy to drop off our bags and park and get to the terminal entrance. Lines moved quickly and we were on the ship within minutes. Of course the cafeteria was crowded, but we found seats and had a good lunch while waiting for our room to be ready.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The Main Dining room was excellent for lunch and dinner, but not that great for breakfast. The Windjammer cafeteria was always crowded, they had a large area of seats blocked off for a private group, so this made it a little hard to find an open table. The coffee they serve tastes terrible in the dining areas; fortunately, they have a Cafe that serves Starbucks drinks (extra cost).
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pools were overcrowded as normal, hard to find a seat on sea days
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Great shows
Children's Programs
1 out of 5
There was nothing to do in the teen club
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone we interacted with was efficient, courteous, and kind.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was clean and well maintained. There was some rust on some railings and on balconies, but overall the everything was ship shape.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The Junior suite was only a little bigger than a regular balcony room, but it worked well for us. I'm not sure it's worth the extra cost vs a regular balcony room. The aft section is further from the elevators, but it was also quieter because of that.
Ship tip
Arrive at Karaoke or Ice Skating events early to find a seat, these events fills up quickly. The Lyric Theater had plenty of seats, so you only need to get there early if you want to order a drink from the bar.
