Review summary

I loved the holiday cruise. Highly recommend taking it. We made some fantastic memories.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was a little rough. Long lines and then when half of us got thru the metal detectors the electricity when off and we were split. My shoes were on the other side too. They tried to figure out what to do. And then the electricity came back on. Once we made it thru this it was great!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was awesome. We never went hungry! My kiddos had the deluxe drink package and loved it! Our dining service was fantastic. They never rushed us thru. Dinners were one of the highlight of our trip!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did almost everything. We loved the pools & hot tubs. The climbing wall was super fun. We loved the slide and putt putt. We never made it on the flow rider because the lines were too long. We did not get to ice skate because it was full too! Casino was fun and added some freebies.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the comedian, some of us saw a other shows and enjoyed them. The holiday ice show was wonderful! Got to watch some important football games! The Schooner bar had wonderful piano entertainment. Loved singing along with them.

Jazz Lounge

5 out of 5

The Schooner had great piano singing. Enjoyed our time there!

Children's Programs

Kidddos chose to stay with us. Looked like they were having fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was outstanding. They made sure we had all we needed. Our steward was fabulous. There for our needs but we never saw him in the room. Our waiters in the dining room were beyond fabulous. They made dinner one of our highlights of the trip. They knew us by name and when they saw us outside the dining hall they would ask us what we we’re doing and remind us of activities we could do. Anyone else we dealt with was great!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The boat was decorated for Christmas and looked lovely. It is an older ship but kept up well. Very clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was very clean. Loved the balcony. Ordered room service every morning and enjoyed it on the balcony! We vacationed with our family so we enjoyed the connecting room with the big group! Perfect

Ship tip

It is a lot of fun! Ask for Manuel for a dining hall server!

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
We flew down the day before. San Juan is trying to slowly get back to norm but it was interesting to see it. I would return there!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We had a great experience here. A lot of the island does not have electricity yet. We did a catamaran experience and had a wonderful day. The beauty of the island is still there. Heard St John was still in bad shape! Don’t shy away from visiting. They welcomed us with open arms and hearts and the beauty is still on St Thomas.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Loved this stop. It is absolutely beautiful. Loved seeing fantastic sites of where Atlantic Ocean is on one side and the Caribbean is on the other side. Cool view. The people were kinda pushy here but shopping was good. We spent Christmas Day at the beach! Loved the monkeys here!

Willemstad, Curacao

4 out of 5
This was a neat island. Loved the architecture. Moving bridge was really cool. Shopping was just ok. Definitely recommend an excursion here.

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
The water is absolutely breath taking here. We had a blast taking a Pelican boat/land tour. Saw a lot of the island this way. Was surprised on how desert like it was. Highly recommend the sunset cruise. It is so close to the sun and was the most beautiful way to experience it! Shopping was ok. By this stop felt the shopping was all the same. They did have some more high end shopping here.

Disembarkation

Easy. Had a great breakfast in the dining hall. Waited on deck for our time. Then walked right off. A little confusing grabbing your bags but not a big deal!
