I enjoyed the cruise but was a little disappointed with the crowd. The Apex did not feel as crowded.

okay cruise by stevenb327

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Epic

Happy to be on cruise, but due to specialty restaurants and long waits to get drinks, I would not do this ship again!

Cruise was great, feral youths are not by Halford2wo

Ship: Carnival Celebration

Cruise itself was good. Ship was very clean and beautiful. Staff were great as usual. Before reading the opinion below, please know that we had a great time. The complaint below would be greatly remedied by better manners from the kids or parents watching closer. Carnival needs to have a more robust system regulating minors. I cannot stress the level of frustration we had EVERY SINGLE EVENING. We understand kids being kids and having fun during the day. It's after the 5:00pm or 6:00pm time frame that it got bad. "Children" (non-teenagers) were not the problem. The problem were teenagers roaming in packs with no respect for fellow passengers. We experienced numerous examples of: - running uncontrolled through crowds almost knocking people over - budging in front of people waiting for elevators. No care that others had been waiting much longer - Rudely speaking to others. I witnessed many instances of senior citizens being made to feel uncomfortable because of how they were talked to. - Lack of care of littering - throwing and slamming balls off stairways and walls - Throwing food off the balconies. We saw instances of pizza/food being tossed Carnival staff need look out for this behavior and stop it immediately. Also, Carnival needs to have a curfew of 10:00pm for minors. Having a 1:00am curfew is ridiculous. What we experienced is most likely experienced on other Carnival ships. If something isn't done as with other issues (ie: marijuana (which we still smelled often), fighting, personal speakers)....Carnival's reputation is at stake as this is what we had already heard online and from others prior to our recent cruise. What we had heard was simply confirmed.

Ship needs improvements by lholt97948176

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Dream

We truly loved Guy's Burgers, the casinos, Caliente, and the Comedy shows. We really wished we could have enjoyed the hot tubs more and to have designated hot tubes for adults only. It baffles me that so many parents leave their children unattended on the ship. We had about 10 young children enter our hot tube that was already full with 6-8 adults that they did not know. To me that is so dangerous, but that is my personal opinion. Hot tubes need to be available past 8:00 pm! Definitely get the drink package, it is so worth it! 4 fruity drinks a day, pretty much will equal your daily drink package cost.

Enjoyable Get-away by missscarlett

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regal Princess

The staff and entertainment were outstanding. For such a large ship with so many diverse passengers it would be better to publish, post and broadcast consistent, clear directions and information. Spent a lot of time searching for information only to find it in an unexpected place. The best communication we had was info about debarkation the night before we docked.

Regal Princess Getaway by rogerc326

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regal Princess

Overall we had a good experience. Our main objective was relaxation and snorkeling at the ports when we could. Having gone on smaller and newer ships in the recent past, this ship had more people on it than we prefer and it might be due for a refurb before long.

relaxing cruise by cruisermsc

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Celebration

I am a Platinum member and waited on platinum line while many others were taken care of. There should be a separate person taking care of Platinum members only not just a line. No computer area to access and print out papers for my next cruise. No priority seating for Platinum members at my time dining. Not enough stalls in restrooms by dining and theater. HATE!!! automatic restroom doors, they stay open and I witnessed many men zippering their pants in full view. Also women restroom door stays open to long to have privacy for us women. Smoke in casino and on decks. Saving of seats and lounge chairs

Overall a great trip by GG2020

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Harmony of the Seas

The boat is very nicely equipped. They really need to work on their app. Half the time it wouldn't work correctly which made staying connected to your cruise mates difficult at best. Overall a very good cruise

Amazing new ship and crew!! by nhiggins1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Icon of the Seas

The ship was awesome, the crew were all amazing and treated us very well. I would love to go back on this ship when the price evens out some. However it was well worth it for being on one of the first couple of cruises. My whole family loved the ship.

Relaxing and memorable by maricook219

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Independence of the Seas

The cruise was memorable, everyone had so much fun. We will be planning another one very soon. One recommendation is to have more over the counter options for medication. Benadryl was something my family needed for my daughter that was not available. Overall the trip was fantastic we would recommend Royal and this ship to all our family and friends.

Beautiful ship!! by lorianddavid

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Jubilee

We really liked Carnival Jubilee. It was a very nice, clean ship with lots of dining options. There were also plenty of comedy shows for people to watch. I would’ve liked to have seen them offer maybe daytime shows I just feel like most people weren’t attending the 9:45 PM shows because it was so late.
