Amazing! Plan ahead! Eat the food (but not too much!) Take time to spend time and connect with family if you brought them! Enjoy life on the ship, but prepare yourself when you leave the ship so you can adjust to real life again. :)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was delicious! WARNING you may be tempted to eat MUCH MORE than you should, I recommend to do your very best to resist the temptation and enjoy the events, time with family and excursions, and maybe do the laps on the track OR attend the gym to avoid overloading on the delicious food!!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of the activities were fun. I wish they had a few more that involved all of the family rather than segregating kids from parents. there were a couple time where kids told my son that their parents were off doing their own thing and left them to just hang out on their own, sure there were kid, hang out spots even for the teenagers, but family vacations connect so much more when spent as families!

Entertainment

Oh, Loved the shows! the opportunities to dance and the karaoke!!! SO fun!

Service and Staff

Loved the staff they were all so friendly! I loved it as they called me by name!

Ship Quality

So clean as my husband and I took our final stroll throughout the ship after dinner on our last night, we noticed staff power-washing everything and emptying out the pool. They kept the ship clean the entire time! I disliked seeing how guests sometimes left plates on the stairs and in hallways at times, but I guess staff is used to cleaning up after us.

Cabin / Stateroom

We did not book this adventure to hang out in the cabin. In fact, I would have LOVED it if it didn't have a TV in it! but it was always clean after coming back during the day! Thanks to Pablo!

Ship tip

Resist eating too much, spend time as a family if you bring family, and book professional excursions!

We did a Priceline excursion here and it was amazing! We went zip lining, snorkeling, and horseback riding!!! We loved the tour guides and everyone who made sure we were safe and having fun!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

I think it would have been more fun if we booked an excursion, but we did not and tried to just go to the beach. not a very easy thing to do on the spot without knowing the area too well. we did enjoy the water, but we went to a beach (Big Mama) that was crowded with people and lots of people coming up to us to sell things. I am happy with my new throw, but I would have enjoyed a relaxing day at the beach instead. Or stayed on the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico

We went to the Tulum temple (ruins) tour! It was amazing!

Disembarkation

having 5000+ disembarking at the same time was quite a task! Staff did exactly what they needed to do but booking and Uber or a Lyft was quite a task. my husband ended up walking about 10 block away from the port and took the Uber from there. it became more efficient cost-wise. We then walked a few blocks that same direction for him to pick us up so he didn't have to hit the traffic all the ubers and lyfts were encountering.
