Review summary

We booked this cruise and paid more than other cruises because it went to Grand Turks only for Princess to cancel this port of call. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Princess has this process down to a tee.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We boarded the ship on Sunday and tried to book a few dinners at the specialty restaurants on the day we boarded, and nothing was available. Not one time at one restaurant.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was plenty to do on the ship. We enjoyed the shows and the comedians.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There was plenty to do on the ship. We enjoyed the shows and the comedians.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our room steward was outstanding. But we spent way toooooo much of our time waiting in lines for drinks and the bathrooms. The rest rooms always had stalls that were out of order.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean, we wish you could not smell the casino smoke so much though.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable.

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Falmouth, Jamaica

LOVED the beach trip.

Cozumel, Mexico

Tourist trap.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again, Princess has this system dialed in to a a tee.

I am so sorry to hear about your port cancellation for a port you booked it for. We had that happen on a different ship/line. Did you try the medallion for drinks?

Princess did the same to me when they cancelled a port we specifically booked for. Be sure to complain a lot in your survey.

In the future if you want to book a specialty restaurant when you get on the ship; make your reservations as soon as you can get into your cabin! We did it that way for many years. Now with the medallion we book through the medallion, but the only thing with that is you have to pay your cover charge when you book.
