Review summary

Overall, my family had a great time on the Breakaway! This was our first experience on a cruise ship and we did not know what to expect nor did we have anything to compare it to. The ship was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The food and drink selection was wonderful with a variety of options. It was a bit windy some of the days so we missed out on some of the outdoor activities but plenty of other things to do on the ship. We went during Spring Break so there were a lot of kids (to include my own) to compete with but that is to be expected when you travel during times like that. We had a great time

We did not take advantage of any specialty dining however, the other restaurants and buffet were fabulous! The buffet offers a great selection with new options daily.

Onboard Activities

We tried the ropes course, pools, slides, arcade, shuffle board and sports complex. The activities offered were sufficient.

Entertainment

We attended multiple shows and watched a plethora of performances which we found were all good. There was plenty of entertainment to enjoy.

Service and Staff

Most every single staff member that we encountered was very lovely and pleasant to be around. They were accommodating and very helpful to us newbies

The common areas were kept very well. I was pleasantly impressed with how clean everything was throughout our entire journey. The layout seemed a bit interesting but I wouldn't really know the difference
