A: Yes, each dock has its own garage and high height vehicle surface lots. It’s about $18 a day ~~. I for one, never use offsite parking, just too much of a hassle for me. I do walk off disembarkation and want to jump in my vehicle get out of town. TIPS... : if you do use port parking, be sure to keep your receipt handy that you get when you enter, you’ll need to scan it to exit. If you don’t mind, use the surface lot as the garages exit slowly on disembarkation day.See More

A: I like parking in the covered lot at port canaverial. it is easy in and out. no waiting for shuttles.

Answered by nearthebeach on October 14, 2024

A: We always park at the port. When you disembark, it's easy to get off the ship, go straight to your car and leave. We did a hotel park and cruise several years ago, and when we got off the ship, there was a very long wait to get a shuttle back to the... hotel. We wound up having to call a cab.See More

A: We stay in Hilton branded hotels and are almost always accommodated for early checkin. For any hotel call before your cruise to have them put a request on your reservation and then call again the morning of so that the staff on duty can communicate (... front desk to housekeeping) and work to accommodate. Most hotel brands are very good with this, some will simply tell you you’ll have to see what’s available upon arrival and that is fine too, they don't know in advance which guests are leaving early.See More

A: If your cruise goes back to the port and then continues on, yes you do have to go through the back to back procedures. If you're in the same cabin, it's easier. All cruises in the USA have to zero out. Meaning you need to basically check out and che... ck back in. The procedures will be explained. There's a few options you'll have.See More

Answered by Skooby on July 19, 2024

A: As soon as the ship has a 0 passenger count from the previous sailing, it usually gets clearance by the Coast Gard for passengers to board. This happens sometime around 10:00 am. On the app check-in, you can choose a slot that is most convenient for... you if it's available.See More

Answered by JMCP68 on July 14, 2024

A: You will get your cruise terminal check in time, not your boarding time, when you do your on line check in. Also, if you are within 2 hours of the ship's scheduled departure time, you can't check in your bags with a porter. You'll have to drag your l... uggage on the ship / to your cabin yourself. My experience is 10:00 am is when they begin the earliest check in at the terminal. Good luck and have a great cruise!See More

Answered by Dutch3901 on July 16, 2024

A: I’m guessing you may be new to cruising. When you check in, 30 days prior to sailing, you’ll pick a boarding time. That’s when you will board, no earlier.

Answered by Gravel6 on July 14, 2024

A: 45 days before is check-in…

Answered by RichardTiffany on July 15, 2024

Answered by crusin4gramma on May 1, 2024

A: Just a heads up. We have wanted to go there every time the ship stopped at Port Canaveral. The problem is time. Our upcoming cruise is due to dock at 1pm. The space center closes at 5pm. The tour says it's 6 hours, I would expect 2.5 hours. Time to ge... t off the ship, assemble on the bus, then travel there. If they close at 5 you won't be looking at attractions till 5 and then leaving. My guess is you will be told to meet at 5. Check very carefully the time in port and the hours of the space center.See More

Answered by Butterbean40483 on April 20, 2024

A: I wasn’t on your cruise and this has happened to me on two different cruises. It was bc of choppy seas. Key West has only a natural port…not man made. If the seas aren’t calm enough, the ship can be damaged.

A: So you missed a port… it happens! Go with the flow and don’t let it ruin the rest of your trip 😉

Answered by livlifenoregret on April 21, 2024
