I always stay at Beachside Hotel. it's like a little resort. they have a pool and lazy river, free breakfast, full bar and food right by the pool. it's right next to Ron Jon Surf Shop so u can walk over there and shop too. about 5 minutes drive to the port, I always uber.

Hollywood FL is almost 3 hours from Port Canaveral…much too far!

We flew in the night before into Orlando, rented a car and drove to port canaveral. We stayed at radison Radisson Resort, Cape Canaveral 8701 Astronaut Blvd.Cape Canaveral, FL 32920Telephone: (321) 784-0000. My kids fell asleep the second their heads hit the pillow, had a nice beautiful ponds and pools. The best treasure we found was La Catrina Mexican food in cocoa beach and cruise time parking was super affordable, on time and were generally awesome for park and ride.

I also suggest Beachside resort. They have specials with cruising. Both for flying in and also driving in.

I live in Cape Canaveral 1 mile from the port. The Radisson is very close to the port and has an amazing swimming pool. As far as something to do the Kennedy Space Center is about 20 minutes away. If that’s not your thing the beach is very close. You could go a couple miles south to the pier.

Cape Canaveral área is alot of of Fun. It a beachy towns área, and also on the Space Coast. We live about an hour away so I haven't booked into hotels there, but there is a Hampton Inn up that way, there's also a Radison. There should be no shortage of hotels in the área.

we always fund a hotel near the airport with a free shuttle or rent a car for the day at the airport and then use Royal Caribbean Shuttle to get to the airport. either return the car at the airport or the free shuttle back to the airport.

Hollywood, Florida is about 180 miles from Port Canaveral. You may want to pay more attention to some of the other suggestions.

Look at hotels in Hollywood Florida….easy to Uber to cruise port and less expensive then the bigger cities…..we loved it there!!!

We did not have a good experience with Best Western at Coco Beach. It was very noisy. They have cobblestone sidewalks and you could hear suitcases all might long. They did not have secured parking. The shuttle was a joke. He was late coming and said he couldn't lift suitcases so we had to load them in a trailer. They were almost 2 hours late coming back to pick us up after the cruise.

the Radisson at Port canaveral has a nice waterfall and music and food in middle. it was fun. also shuttle to Port. rooms were a little dated. but haven't been in years.

Port Canaveral and cocoa beach area are a blast. Many places to stay. Moved away from Orlando about a year ago but spent a lot of time in that area for work and pleasure. Any place close to the pier around the 520 A1A intersection is a lot of fun. Pretty easy to walk around and about a 10 minute drive to the port. There used to be a hotel right next to Ron John’s for $80 a night during Covid. It had a lazy river and was a blast. I think it was called the beachside inn. Right next to the port I used to stay in the Marriott or country inn and suites. The port has a bit less to do but there are some great restaurants and jetty park for laying on the beach. Great place to see a rocket launch too if one is scheduled.
