You may be better off going to KSC with the cruise excursion than taking Uber or Lyft with that many people. There's also a draw bridge that breaks down periodically and going with the cruise ship will eliminate any issues getting back on time should the bridge get stuck in the UP position. Enjoy KSC, you'll definitely enjoy it!!

The challenge would be how to store your luggage, if you do this yourself maybe rental cars. We used the Royal Caribbean post cruise excursion today and it was great!

Just a heads up. We have wanted to go there every time the ship stopped at Port Canaveral. The problem is time. Our upcoming cruise is due to dock at 1pm. The space center closes at 5pm. The tour says it's 6 hours, I would expect 2.5 hours. Time to get off the ship, assemble on the bus, then travel there. If they close at 5 you won't be looking at attractions till 5 and then leaving. My guess is you will be told to meet at 5. Check very carefully the time in port and the hours of the space center.

You need to be more specific! Is this before, after or during your cruise? It makes a difference!
