Port Canaveral, Florida Port Q&A

We always park at the port. When you disembark, it's easy to get off the ship, go straight to your car and leave. We did a hotel park and cruise several years ago, and when we got off the ship, there was a very long wait to get a shuttle back to the hotel. We wound up having to call a cab.

Yes, each dock has its own garage and high height vehicle surface lots. It’s about $18 a day ~~. I for one, never use offsite parking, just too much of a hassle for me. I do walk off disembarkation and want to jump in my vehicle get out of town. TIPS: if you do use port parking, be sure to keep your receipt handy that you get when you enter, you’ll need to scan it to exit. If you don’t mind, use the surface lot as the garages exit slowly on disembarkation day.

We like parking offsite at ParkPortCanaveral. Way cheaper, especially since we do 14 day cruises. But for a short cruise, the port is fine.

I like parking in the covered lot at port canaverial. it is easy in and out. no waiting for shuttles.

Port Parking Space is excellent.Nice "live" people even answer the phone!! We had to change the day we were going to pick up the car, and it was a quick phone call and no hassle.PS..were on a 4 day cruise and loved it so much we purchased the adjoining 3 day cruise and stayed on the ship!!

I would check out Go port. You can park and they take you to the port. They are there when you get off the ship. If going a day early , you can book your hotel through them. We went last year and hotel and parking for 6 days ( hotel for one night) was a little over two hundred dollars.

The Port Canaveral garage does not offer Veterans discount parking unless you have a handicap cap sticker for veterans! However, there is a Veterans lot Lots of Honors! We have parked there many times. They also shuttle you to your ship. And no they do not check for id!! Great place! Go online type parking for Port Canaveral. Several out there
