i am not a gambler but I see many passengers in the casino even in the daytime. How important is the casino to your enjoyment of a cruise?

Would you take a cruise on an ocean liner that did not have a casino?

On our last cruise, I spent the total sum of 1 dollar on a slot machine one afternoon for all of 5 minutes. Needless to say, the loss of a casino would not affect my choice of cruise ship
Nor mine either. I do enjoy watching other passengers winning, though. Since the casinos are too smokey, I don't stay too long.
I spend a few $$$$ on every cruise. Sometimes I even win a few. My sitting time is limited so I really don't play the table games as much as I used to, nor can I lean out over the craps table, which was my favourite game. I do enter the blackjack tournaments on most ships.
How do you fare in the blackjack tournaments?
I would but my husband is a gambler and and the perks we get back for his deposits end up being worth it.
There are so many activities that are included with the price of the cruise I feel sorry that some passengers are just gambling away a good time. The casinos are usually smoke filled dumps and take up room for better activities that could be utilized in that area.

So I guess that if a ship didn't have a casino, it wouldn't bother you too much. Ships in Hawaii don't have casinos. Nor do River cruises have casinos.
Absolutely, I have no use for them anyway! They are usually smokey and loud. Bring on another entertainment venue. I love music.
Absolutely as we never use the casinos
Certainly, never use the casino at all. However, my wife does so my vote here doesn't count.
So I guess that you will only be cruising on ships with casinos.
Most definitely, I make my yearly contribution of $20 at the casino, which generally is gone within minutes, so I would not be at a loss if I got to keep it. LOL I am definitely not a gambler!
No I would not.
