Would you take a cruise on an ocean liner that did not have a casino?

i am not a gambler but I see many passengers in the casino even in the daytime. How important is the casino to your enjoyment of a cruise?

I definitely enjoy the gambling. I won a free cruise on my last cruise and an entry into a 100,000 guaranteed poker tournament. So yes a casino does make a difference to me.

My husband used to enjoy blackjack but now he isn't interested any more either. Our River cruises didn't have casinos and we didn't miss them at all.

I do not use the Casino on ships. When I was 21 years old I moved to Las Vegas and owned a shop in a Casino on the strip. After a being in the Casino environment for a year, I am over it. In the last 20 years of cruising I have donated less then $ 50.00 to the ship Casino. Even if I wanted to gamble, the smell of people smoking drives me out.

Yes I would take a cruise on a liner with no Casino. Disney , so I've heard has no Casino. I usually bring a few hundred to lose on slots, the machines are set up so that as you sail away you can win.....but like all Casinos, they take it back later.

I like casinos, but I guess it would depend on where the ship is going, and if it was my only option.

I spend a few $$$$ on every cruise. Sometimes I even win a few. My sitting time is limited so I really don't play the table games as much as I used to, nor can I lean out over the craps table, which was my favourite game. I do enter the blackjack tournaments on most ships.

On our last cruise, I spent the total sum of 1 dollar on a slot machine one afternoon for all of 5 minutes. Needless to say, the loss of a casino would not affect my choice of cruise ship

Certainly, never use the casino at all. However, my wife does so my vote here doesn't count.

Yes. Though it used to be fun, the machines are so tight that it's always a losing proposition. Like I said in a recent review, I would rather stand in the piazza and hand out 20's to fellow cruisers than flush it down the tube in the casino. As for the tables, the auto-shuffler takes the fun out of Blackjack. It's just not fun anymore.
