How much money do you allocate for the casino on your cruise?

My luck never pans out so I usually cap out at $20 just to have a little fun. What's your casino budget when you go cruising? (Also which casinos have you won the most at? I may need some tips.)

My wife plays roughly $100 a day on slots and I take $200 a day for blackjack.

My bf and I usually take anywhere from $500 to $1,000 for the entire week, but normally we always come back with almost as much as we took. We either win back what we played on originally, or we just really don't play that much and just play on our winnings and return home with almost the same amount of loot as we took. He is a very savy roulette player, but I prefer the slots, though neither of us are really big gamblers at all. :)

My husband and I are not what you would consider habitual gamblers. It's been a few years since we went to Vegas and we have never been to our local casinos. That all being said we do enjoy playing some slots on our cruises. We don't keep track of the exact amount we spend in the casino but it's usually over $100, sometimes maybe a couple hundred. We booked a casino offer for a free balcony for our next cruise so I'd say our investment in the casino was worth our time and money. We lived in Las Vegas for 7 years. These little cruise ship casinos are adorable, but not tempting at all. Happy

It depends on a few factors, but usually on a one week cruise I'll gamble between $10,000.00 to $15,000.00 per day, with a maximum of $100k for the week.

My wife on the other hand has a $50,000.00 daily limit. I tend to be more restrained, especially now that we're retired and on a fixed income.

Of course, those numbers only cover shipboard gambling. If there are any stops at islands that have casinos, well that's a whole different ball game. Ooooh, that reminds me. I have to call our bookie to get our bets down on tonight's MLB games.

$0.00. I know I'll lose it, and would rather lose it on something I enjoy. (smiles)

$0.00. We know the purpose of the casinos is to get as much of your money as they can. The profit margin for off-shore casinos is huge!

I used to just walk by and since I like video games, they always caught my attention but never really played.

BUT... I did play for the 1st time couple years back on the Carnival Dream and only played $30 and walked away with $50. So on our anniversary this past May my wife and I played for say a good hour and we ended, up $80 bucks from $40. So not bad. We do have another upcoming cruise in November so I am planning to play at least $100 maybe $200 and see how the fates treat me.Wink

Nothing at all!

I remember when cruise casinos still accepted coins, and then we would stop by and do some slots just for fun. But we have never returned since credit cards and cruise cards are now required.

I also receive so many cruise offers with great prices by email that I have no need to ever try to gamble to get a "free" cruise.

I live only one hour from Atlantic City, and I only go there to walk on the Boardwalk and visit the beach!

Quite often more than they allocate back to me
