Alaska 10days on NCL Jewel on 9/17. I do believe I'm falling into a rut.
That’s not a bad rut to be in!
We have been here several times and also agree about bringing water shoes. How busy the beach gets depends on how many ships are in port. There is also a beautiful pool with lounge chairs. The shopping is fun here, too.
We will be sailing on the ms. Koningsdam in December 2016. It is HAL's newest ship.
Carnival Miracle to Mexico in 6 days
I do not have one booked rite now but Im looking into a few. I may do a re-positioning cruise from Pacific North West to LA on the way back from visiting family in WA. After a week with family a few days on a cruise home may be just the thing.
I'm doing that cruise on Sept 19th, then meeting my son in LA and doing the 4 day cruise to Catalina & Ensenada. We fly to Portland, Maine the day we get back for a week of traveling around New England "leaf peeping". With re-positioning bargain prices, it was cheaper for me to fly to Bellingham and cruise down to LA, then travel to LA from Las Vegas! Or so I convinced myself....
We are cruising on the Carnival Vista Oct 2017 for my birthday.....I usually cruise every year for my birthday but I just had a baby in March and I really don't want to cruise with a 8 month old
Smart choice - as much as I love cruising, spending my birthday with my new baby would trump everything!

There is an amazing beach in Grand turk as soon as you get off the ship and it is free. Margarittaville is right there and a bunch of other stuff to do for a fee. The chairs are free there too but if you do not get there early enough, you wont get one unless you pay. Bring water shoes though as there are rocks in the water. I loved Grand Turk. Went in Jan, and cannot wait to go back!
Thanks!! We can't wait.
This is our first time to all these ports :) We booked the excursion to the Monkey House. Thanks for the heads up on the beaches!! We are doing a beach and snorkel excursion in St John and rain forest in Puerto Rico. Any suggestions for Grand Turk?

Have you been to Amber Cove yet? Do you have excursions booked? If so, hopefully not the Serenities VIP, the water there is terrible, meaning shallow, rocky and full of seaweed
