Excellent Service & Quality Cruising
This was out first cruise and we truly had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the staff was courteous and the ship was in wonderful condition. The menu was diverse and allowed us to try a few items we had never had before. The entertainment (disco, comedy club and shows) was refreshing and quite funny. The staff did an awesome job keeping our room tidy, remembering our drink selections and always had a smile on their faces.

Ecstasy--Spring Break--Kids Galore--Still Had Fun
The review process would not allow me to select April so I selected October. We really went during Spring Break and took our kids, ages 8 and 10. We had 2 interior cabins next to each other and for the amount of time we spent inside, they were plenty big enough.
We rarely seen the kids, except at meal times because they were off at Camp Carnival hanging out with their new traveling buddies. We'd check on them throughout the day, but if they were having fun, a visual was good confirmation. They were within the same age group so they could do the same activities. The staff did a wonderful job keeping the kids busy & having FUN!
The food was good and it was nice to get a family picture of us in our finery on elegant evening. We tried foods we normally wouldn't and ate more than we should've. The kids had ice cream at mid-night and we snacked on shrimp.
We went to Nassau and walked around while the kids had an on board scavenger hunt. It was enjoyable to see the different shops, buy a few cheesy souvenirs and have a strong adult beverage.
No complaints. Vacation is all about going with the flow & making the best of every situation.
Carnival Glory
Sail date: April 07, 2013
Our mistake...we should not have gone during Spring Break!
Everything was good about this cruise except for the college kids and the abundance of young cruisers. The noise level was unbelievable and some of the behaviors were distasteful. We were never able to use the pool because of the amount of children occupying it.
We still had a nice time. The entertainment was fun, the food delicious, the ports were nice. Our cabin was well cared for and the bartenders were never far away. Our wait staff was always pleasant and recalled our preferences.
Again, good cruise, but would have been better if we had not booked during Spring Break...lesson learned!

Cruise tips
Carnival Ecstasy
Bring water shoes for the deck areas & saddle up to the deck railing early so you can do the traditional 'see ya later Miami' wave to all the land bound people.

The early dining option was wonderful! Hot food and access to nightly shows, less crowded comedy club and night clubs.
