Plan your tour and dining activities well in advance when reservations open. It was not easy to get dining reservations once on board. Specialty restaurants are very good and popular.

Book a cruise as you won't be disappointed

Do not bring over the top dressy clothes.

Get your chairs by the pool early on sea days.

Over half the ports were tenders to port. Review excursion offerings and expensive prices before booking. This is a new route so kinks need to be worked out.

Book a room that meets your space needs. Even if it means paying more.

Book shore excursions as soon as possible as well as special restaurants. Be aware that the average age of guests is 70 years and older with many who have physical issues.

Try all of the specialty restaurants -- they are truly superb.

Bring strong magnets and you can hang things on the walls with them. Also, I wish we had known ahead of time that we are allowed to bring our own bottles on wine on board and consume them in our cabin. We purchased some at a port after learning this and it was great!

Humphrey Slocum Ice cream and Sticky Buns in Terrace for breakfast!

Book your dining options as soon as you can to get better dining times. Shore excursions from Oceania are more expensive than other options. Consider that when booking an excursion through Oceania.

Make your dinner reservations online as soon as they become available for the best time selections.

Rarely do we pay more for an upgraded stateroom as we feel it isn't needed.
