Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Packed because we were in small port with 2 other mega ships! Our tour was constantly running into crowds. Our new ship spewed black smoke the entire day that it was anchored.

Harvest Caye, Belize

2 out of 5
Didn’t realize we weren’t going to Belize proper. Not a fan of cruise port’s especially with two mega ships.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Again boarding tour 🚌 with over 10,000 others. Long ride to see ruins

Disembarkation

Sounds like you didn’t do enough pre-planning. You can book dining times as much as 45 or 60 days in advance. Always openings. Also, I found the main dining room with lots and lots of space between tables, as with all other areas of the ship. Now the smaller Oceania ships have less open space and fewer dining options, so they can sometimes be a problem. Good luck on your next cruise.
