Ship, food, staff, and Aqua Spa were excellent. Ship excursions way overpriced. Self booked excursions very confusing to arrange. Too many Tender ports.

No children on this line.
Service and Staff

All were cheerful and could not do enough to make it a good experience.
Ship Quality

Once in a while the toilets didn’t work.
Cabin / Stateroom

I had a single cabin. Could not see the TV from the bed. The shower was so small there was no way to pick up anything if you dropped it. However, I travel solo and so the savings helped. Could be laid out better.
Ship tip
Over half the ports were tenders to port. Review excursion offerings and expensive prices before booking. This is a new route so kinks need to be worked out.
Very rough seas when we arrived.. Another Tender port. Everything delayed due to not being safe to operate tender boats until later. People who had booked their own excursions missed them. I stayed on board.
There is nothing to see in Holyhead. All attractions were on the opposite side of the Island which was a 1.5 hour drive. Oceania needs to pay to dock on the other side.
As always, if you did not book an excursion through the cruise line it was totally confusing on how to get from the ship to the town which was 30 min. Away. On the ship they told us there were no taxi’s Ubers or buses available. When we got off the ship there were Taxi’s and a bus to take you to town. We Enjoyed the Viator Viking walking tour.
Thanks for your review. In case you ever go back, Edinburgh trams now run right out to Newhaven, just a short walk after you get off the tender (maybe around 10 mins). There’s a tram every 7 mins and they take you right into Princes St in the city centre, return fare less than £4.
