In spite of the rain.. it was a very interesting port. We went up to Lews Castle and walked some of the trails, there are some interesting wood carvings here and there . I will try to add a photo. The museum nan Eilean was very interesting, plus going to the Harris Tweed room and seeing the looms etc. The town is filled with small and interesting shops. I found the prices of their Harris Tweed goods to be very reasonable. The people are friendly. If you are heading this way, I suggest you do your research. This is an interesting stop, plus there is a lot to see out in the countryside.

Historical Lewis was really interesting. We enjoyed the detail in which the guide told the ancient storis of the area.

We booked a local RIB boat tout and saw a lot of wildlife (dolphins, puffins, seals,...)

We intended to do a good walk around the town but the weather put paid to that. We found a really nice cafe for tea and cake instead.
