we were on deck 2 so it was very convenient to get off and on the ship for shore excursions; that being said it also put us several decks below the dining and recreational areas but there were plenty of elevators and stairways so it was not a problem to get where we wanted to be

Go to Windjammer they have a variety of food to suit everyones taste. The staff is friendly and courteous.
