Don't expect great meals every night in main dinning room. Some were great and some not so good. Desserts were horrible. Which was good for me, I only gained a pound.

Just have fun!!!

Be prepared to not be able to get into the pools/hot tub.

Avoid the interior rooms and be ready for luke-warm food.

If you have MY TIME DINING, make sure you understand the procedure for each evening meal from the Dining Room personnel.

If you enjoy smaller size ships and an older crowd, this is a good one. Look for a bigger ship if you like a lot of options for food, entertainment, active excursions, etc.

Bring an extension cord with a power strip,

Come with an appetite!!! You dont need any snacks they have it all.

Take another ship, a newer one.

Deck 7 seems to be the best deck for selecting a cabin. You have cabin above and below your cabin which helps to keep the noise down. Forward on deck 8 you are under the Windjammer Buffet. Mid ship on deck 8 you are under the pool and deck chairs. Deck 4 - 6 mid ship have a lot of activity all day and all night.

Go to all of the shows that feature a performer, they were so amazing. Bring snacks your cabin. Missed salty snacks, like chips, nuts, trail mix, etc.

Don't stay on deck 4 forward, if you like to sleep late,

Enjoy yourself and understand that not EVERYTHING is going to be perfect. Go with the flow and look for the good, excuse the bad and choose to be happy. I just wish you had more Non Alcohol drinks available.

Definitely ensure that you know how small the ship is in comparison to others. There is a lot of motion and not a lot to do.
katjam2233
Figure out landmarks in the ship to get your bearings. Would be great if they would put signs so you could tell if you were forward or aft. I was always on the opposite end from where I needed to be.

Pay attention at the survival time when you first get onboard. Wear warm clothes if you have to evacuate. But don't worry about it, just show up and the crew will take care of you.

Play close attention to your daily planner. There is so much to do.

Stay on board when they have short excursions and you get the pool to yourself.
