Overall we enjoyed this cruise and would recommend the cruise to others, The ship is not a large mega ship but is very easy to get around and did not seem overly crowded. We were pleased to see some excellent fall colors. Other than issues with the MY TIME DINING procedures, we found the cruise to be very good and enjoyed the number of ports we visited. The ship had an older clientele, and when in port there are few onboard activities. The food was very good in both the main dining room and the buffet. We did not go to any of the "Specialty Restaurants" but did speak with several individuals who did and advised they enjoyed the food and the more personal service. The dining room waiters and service personnel, all try to promote the specialty restaurants, during the cruise.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We had all evening meals in the main dining room. Food was very good.
We had issues with MY TIME DINING; not realizing or ever told upon embarkation that we had to call for a reservation every day. We were eventually given a dining time of 6:15 each evening, The MY TIME DINING procedure was very confusing and we received different information from different crew members.

Cabin was accommodating. Had to request additional pillows and the mattress was a bit hard. I almost ask for an additional mattress. Cabin was very clean and well serviced by our room steward,
Ship tip
If you have MY TIME DINING, make sure you understand the procedure for each evening meal from the Dining Room personnel.
You have to Tender to the dock area. We got a local cab with another couple and went to Camden, ME.
Cost was $5.00 a person each way as long as you have four in the cab.
We stayed by the port as we have visited Halifax several times. If you are a beer drinker, try a "flight" of beer at Garrison's Brewery right next to the ship terminals. There are several tours you might swant to consider from Halifax, such as Peggy's Cove Tour
We walked into Nice town from the ship. Nice location for in town shopping and restaurants. We had a lobster lunch at Flavors which is located at the ship's port. Good craft beers also.
Only day of morning rain and wind. The weather cleared around 10am so we used the free town shuttle.
First location of great fall colors, Since we were in town on a Sunday, many stores were closed.
We have visited Quebec City several times. Used the freed ship's bus to the upper city area. We walked the city and had a nice lunch at a local restaurant and pub near Notre Dame Church.
We were next to last getting off as we had a late flight out of Quebec City.
Disembarkation was very easy and crew members were very visible to direct us to our bus to the airport.
