Review summary

Our cruise was a sisters getaway vacation. We had a blast every day experiencing the great music, watching the couple's dance, the shows, food and music.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived at terminal 2 right at 10:30 am and had no waiting at all. It was a smooth and quick transition from land to ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food at the Windjammer was good. There was a large variety of foods to choose from. The Main Dining Room has the best servers. They were attentive and caring. I only have one coming and that is that on several meals what we ordered is t exactly what we got. When we asked about it they made lame excuses. Giovanis was our very favorite restaurant we ate at; service, atmosphere and food were superb! The very best Filet I have EVER eaten was there.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
This trip was about rest and relaxation so most of our time was spent Lounging by the pool or sitting around a table playing games and laughing.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had a blast at all of the shows. We didn't know it was going to be a "70's" themed cruise and it was a blast for all 4 of us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward, Arnel, was fantastic! He took such good care of us. Most all of the waiters were good. There were a few that were rude or just ignored us when we called to them. The activities Directors were awesome and we participated in as many things as we could.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Being one of the smaller ships, it was easy to get around with no problems. It was clean and well maintained in every place we went. The design was very pleasing and well cared for. I wish the dance floor in the Centrum was a bit bigger though.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Everything about the cabin was fine except for the bed. It was so hard that it gave me back spasms and triggered my sciatica. I really wish Royal Caribbean would consider offering a softer option to us with back problems.

Ship tip

Enjoy yourself and understand that not EVERYTHING is going to be perfect. Go with the flow and look for the good, excuse the bad and choose to be happy. I just wish you had more Non Alcohol drinks available.

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Our excursion to the Mayan Ruins was awesome! We just didn't have enough time to do all we wanted

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Excellent snorkeling and Nochi Cocom was beyond amazing. I could have spent a week there. The shops were typical of a tourist spot. A simple smile and, No Gracias, would keep them from you don't you.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We chose to carry our own bags and it was the fastest disembarkation I've ever done! Going through customs was a breeze with all the kind and helpful workers there.
