An itinerary just going to Montenegro, Croatia, and Slovenia maybe along with Bari or one of the other Eastern Italian cities would be preferable. Maybe a day in Venice, but I know that is not really feasible

A total of 11 days at sea. An excellent veranda for relaxing and sunning. Relaxing trip.

Don't let the 6 days at sea crossing the Atlantic deter you. Time basically stood still. The included wines at lunch and dinner were as good, or better, than anything you would buy for yourself. Befriend a few bar and wait staff, and you'll have more than you can handle (and be sure to tip them extra at the end)

While we really liked the excursions (Ice Lagooon and Volcano ATVs were amazing) we both got sick on this cruise. My wife so sick she passed out at the airport when departing and was transported to a hospital. Turned out we both have bacterial infections. These may not be from on board exposure and could have been from volcanic dust particles in the air from active volcano (major eruption about two weeks ago and active flow still ongoing with some particulates visible in the air space above the volcano near the airport) … this was a major impact to our experience. Coupled with United re-routing us from a relatively short trip (IAH-ORD-KEF) to (IAH-Frankfurt-KEF) on Lufthansa a day late and with loss of luggage for three days made this overall vacation a not so great memory.

Had a great time, met some interesting people, pampered by the entire crew!

This cruise checked off a couple bucket list items -- Vatican Museum, Roman Forum, Pompeii. But we contracted COVID (probably at very crowded Vatican Museum tour), which required that we be isolated for 5 days in our cabin. More or less 1/2 a cruise. Book the pre-cruise stay in Rome for a hotel experience like no other. Worth every penny.

The Viking ship and room was great, but the food was a big disappointment. Also, the staff in the restaurants were poor compared to other luxury cruise lines we have traveled on.

We are big fans of Viking but this trip was very disappointing. Two ports were cancelled with no explanation, and one was cancelled due to rough weather. Lack of communication left many guests complaining. Some compensation in the form of vouchers was offered by Viking customer service after I made a call, but the disappointment remains. Fortunately they had a great library. Viking seems much more at home in the Mediterranean than the Caribbean Sea.

Viking is first class all the way in every way. We were again thrilled to be sailing with Viking and the Panama Canal cruise was a bucket list item for us

The cruise was well worth the time and cost. We didn’t experience any negatives at any point from boarding to disembarking. Highly recommend.

This was our first Viking cruise. The service was outstanding, the food delicious and the ambiance was lovely and relaxing. We are long time cruisers but will continue on Viking as it is head and shoulders above the rest.

Great trip, great ship, Panama Canal is awesome, excursions all good.

Overall we were disappointed in our first Viking cruise. For this price point their competitors offer a much better experience. More inclusive (tips and liquor), much better food and friendlier staff.

Lovely time for this cruise but will always be weather dependent.

Skipped two ports due to the Hurricane. Instead visited Quebec City twice. Charged me $59 for a simple walking tour. It should be free because we skipped 2 ports and skipped 2 included excursions

Excellent cruise and fantastic experience overall...would do it again in a minute - no flaws, no issues, no problems.

The treat is to just be on a Viking ship; always consistently excellent service, food and the best staff on the seas.

The cruise was very nice, excellent ship, great crew! The ports were ordinary and far from any beaches, etc.

Excellent. Only really negative things was that they could have communicated better about what was going on with the ships dr and covid and about the cancellation of Key West. Food, cabin, service, ship, simply amazing. Also covid protocols were great. PCR tested every single day and trackers. It will be hard to go back to those big ships. We were totally spoiled.
