Considering almost 30 meals, we only had one meal that was not up to par. It was a late meal where the swordfish was just “OK” and the side dishes were not hot. But all five restaurants we visited did a great job.

Viking is noted for adults only cruises. So there are not a lot of unique boat entertainments. But the pool, library, atrium, explorers lounge, bars, trivia, lectures, music, shows, and band were all enjoyable.

Room attendant was top notch, laundry service was good, and all staff were focused on the passenger.

Ship tip
Viking has a great business model with a great ship for a relatively small number of guest. The vessel is perfect but the cruise is more about the ports of call and excursions than being on the ship.
Again a bit more of a port than a destination but the trip inland to a coffee and sugarcane hacienda was great ( other than the 4 total hours in the bus).
We have traveled with Viking twice and are booked for two more cruises with them in the future. We really enjoyed our experiences as well as our RC trips. I love visiting the destinations we travel to.
